Completly off topic but can anyone remember the threashold before you get taxed from goods from America?
Want to order something but don't want to go over the limit and get taxed!!

Currently it's approximately £18 or $35. Due to change in December to a much more generous threshold of around £118..... roll on December :D

Phree is correct as usual!:)
But just wanted to add that if it comes to over £18 there are all sorts of charges that get added on in addition to the vat:(
I've come unstuck a couple of times with it, there's the vat on the whole amount, not the difference from £18, then there is a duty charge & one courier even charged an extra £20 delivery on top!
I make sure that all my things are under £18 or marked as a gift now.
