ta lol, I want a new one btw, prefer to buy from an established place in case owt goes wrong
I'm looking too. it depends how many cartridges you want with it. I was hoping the prices might go down with the new expession. I keep telling myself I don't need the expression2 but flexi pay is drawing me in. I can't have mine till September so keeping my eyes open. The best deal I have found is smart crafts.

Thanks Jube, I'm not keen on touch screens so I'd just love to be able to cut bigger, I expect the prices will go down soon, not too bothered about getting a bundle as I'd prefer to pick my own carts.
You can choose how many carts and which ones with the expression at smart crafts . I don't particually want the expression 2 as I have a gypsy but its cheaper than the normal expression. Because provo craft have not let any other retailer have the expression2 except C&C the price of the normal one hasn't started to go down. They are very clever.

Before I bought my Cricut Expression 2 from C&C, I emailed Cricut to ask when it would be available at other retailers in the UK. I didn't hear back from them until now and this was their answer.
"Hello,
Thank you for emailing Customer Support.
Create and Craft will be the only UK distributor to have the E2 Anniversary Edition.
If you have any further questions please feel free to call the number below where one of our representatives will be more than happy to assist you or you are welcome to reply to this email.
Have a wonderful day!"
Hope this helps if you are thinking about the Cricut E2.
Chrissy.
I'm 99.9% I will get the normal one now it also means the prices won't go down. thanks for the information Chrissy it is very useful

I got mine from pinnacle crafts in May of last year for £299. At that time they were giving the design software with the machine as well but I think that was just a special offer then. They are authorised european provocraft distributors though and the machine does come with a two year warranty. I did look at smart crafts becuase they will let you change the carts but I have to say I do use accent essentials and plantin schoolbook more than I thought I would so am glad I have them. Think theat the price is till the same, just no design studio with it now but you could always check with them, after all you never know what a bit of cheek may get you. Service was good too - ordered it at 3pm on a bank holiday monday and it was with me by 10am on the wednesday, with free post and packing as well.
I got my gypsy from pinnacle crafts and the service was excelent
