Saw that DB had some of the Sakura pens on today in kit with stickers and she mentioned how much she likes them. It was buying some of these pens off IW earlier this year that got me into crafting, they really are lovely, i've got the glaze and stardust pens and you get wonderful effects from them. She mentioned that teh permapaque pens are coming up at QVC as well.
I thought that the monochrome papers and the art deco stamps were gorgeous as well.

I love my Sakuras - I usually treat myself to couple when I place an order with JS :D
Missed the Art Deco stamps & there's no pic or video on the website

I usually buy 1 pen each time I shop at JS. My collection is building up nicely without realising I'm actually paying for them :D

the problem is that I only ever intended to get one or two sets just to have some fun with and make a few cards. But it got me onto the slippy slope of watching craft shows and now look where I am months later! He he!
Sakura are the best. IMO
They are all nice in their own way.

Oh no i havent missed stamps have i!!!
There is a video on the QVC website of the art deco stamps. We've just got the matching backing papers in the shop - they're really lovely.
I also like the American Crafts pens - they do a different job to Sakura, but if you like a nice pen.... QVC always have very good deals on these.

The Papermill do good deals on Sakura pens; I tend to buy a couple every so often and then don't notice the cost so much.

Watched the video now - I'm not so keen on the ladies, but the cat stamp is lovely...& the twisted decoup version is lovely. Am I right in thinking DB has done the matching decoup sheet in a kit before?

Nope, it's just you! :D
Seriously, I loved both the hours and by the way that things were selling out and going limited, I'm clearly not alone in my opinion!
I think that there has been a vast improvement in the QVC shows recently however......if you want to talk dull, look no further than the recent Becks Fagg show on there! That woman couldn't flog water to a man on fire!
Wonder now that Sakura have left IW for QVC we will see more of the "big" names on IW leave as well?

I seem to remember those too Wellington. I also loved the cat stamp, does anyone know if and where you can get it on it's own?

There are still Sakura pre-records on C&C, so I don't think Sakura have left them - plus they presenters are always mentioning Sakura pens, which I don't think they would be allowed to do if they didn't supply them? I'm prepared to be prooved wrong mind :D
Sakura is just a brand that both channels sell - like they both flog Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads, or StazOn etc etc... With C&C I assume the particular supplier also flogs Sakura in their own outlet?

I love watching DB, she really knows her stuff but I get so frustrated when teh presenters interrupt or talk over her when she is doing a demo or explaining what is in a kit. The presenter yesterday was driving me up the wall and she also did the Prima show today, at least 3 times she asked the guest to describe the product then interupted and carried on herself. I wouldn't mind but a lot of the time she was wittering on about her own life and family or giving her own inane comments about the products when i wanted to hear the guest talking. I know that sometimes they have to make guests speed up and so on but there have got to be better ways of doing it than being plain rude to the guests.
Sorry for ranting, I'm feeling sorry for myself tonight as I've had a very painful migraine today and didn't get anything done...just a waste of a day. I'll try to stop grumping.

Sorry to read you haven't had a good day and hope the migraine is going or gone.
Know what you mean about the QVC presenters constantly interrupting. I think Dawn Bibby is very good at explaining things to someone new to crafting, but as you become more experienced its then the shows become a bit old hat. I started watching the craft shows a good four years ago now and occasionally I see something demoed by Dawn and think thats a good idea, but equally well get a bit fed up with being faced with the same stuff over and over again.
