Lovely Suprise

Received a lovely suprise card in the post the other day, sorry Phree what with my forgetfulness and the down time on CT i am only posting now, anyway here it is, i suppose technically it is for the October Swap but Phree pre warned me that it might be late or not appear at all due to circumstances with her poorly face, hope thats all back to normal Phree, i have to confess i had forgotten all about it so when it arrived it was a really lovely suprise, thank you very much Phree, dont you think cards are always really welcome when least expected :)

Lovely sentiment on that card :)and I agree a suprise card or letter does brighten up the day
Thats why I love the card swap.
I'm not much of a letter writer mainly because my fingers get cramp coz like my talking my writing goes on and on and on:rolleyes:
But a relative of mine writes a to me once a month with all her news and its lovely when I see her handwriting on the envelope.

Glad you liked the card RW, it took me about 3 goes to get the colouring reasonable on the embossing - sigh they make it look so darn easy on telly when they chalk over embossed designs or swish an ink pad over them but I think that is a technique I need some practice on!

Well it was worth the effort, it is very pretty and looks very professional! You should see my beginners' efforts at card making, they look like something from Blue Peter!! I've got a long way before I get to make anything as pretty as Phree's card....just as well i've got a bulk order of mega cheap (and nasty) paper to practice on..he he!
