Looks like it is going to be plain and simple volume 2 cd and 60 sheets of card etc, see here:-

It costs more than the first volume too as I bought the first one and paid £17.99 for it so this one isn't as good a deal as the first one methinks.

Looks quite nice and probably good for people who aren't very confident about having a go at things, but I'm saving my next pennies for Glenda's Peacock CDs!
I think by the way I've got beginners' panic block, like tonight I keep playing with things (colouring in some stamps) but still can't get myself to make a card as I don't want to spoil anything nice in my stash! I keep looking at the nice metallic and glittered cards I got from the clearance show in the last IW craft weekend but can't bring myself to actually cut any of them up!! Maybe I'll do better after a big glass of wine..... lol!!

well whatever my first card looks like, i'm going to post it on here, i must be the longest serving crafter with the biggest beginner's stash, I started collecting bits months ago, never intending to really start crafting! Then when QVC did their September craft day, I realised I was getting hooked and bought my first Christmas card Kit (the shiny Dawn Bibby one) which should be easy to put together, so I've got no excuse! With my shiny new Anna Griffin storage bags and folders stuffed full of stuff, I've really got to start soon.......just as well I live on my own, he he he lol lol lol!

Just heard Stephanie say that her new word for 2009 is "exquisite"! You have been warned!

I think that Stephanie may have been a bit tongue in cheek!! I remember her and Nancy teasing each other about words they use on the last craft day. Nancy mentioned she was going to start using exquisite and stunning and Stephanie said she would start using fabulous.

What did you think of the Garden Views and Landscapes stuff - maybe it's just me - but I thought they looked horrible - my dogs have sicked up less colourful messes!

Not my taste although it was a big kit for the money. I've just watched the CD show with the Strictly Card Dancers CD which looks beautiful, definately a bit different and of course very topical, such a good idea! But I'm saving my pennies for one of Glendas!

That's inflation for you ;)

Did you get all the card stock in the Extravaganza? IIRC, I wasn't too fussed on getting the CD, but there was some lush foiled cardstock included in the POTD

Nah - that's not beginner's block, that's a general affliction that hobbles all crafters LOL A glass of wine makes lots of things look better, but watch out for your fingers near a craft knife :D

ROFLMAO Phree! Doesn't do a lot for me either. Usually with the MIC kits I find the images pretty, but not these ones. Some of the satin ribbons are nice I suppose...
