I had a tiny dilemma, with 5 cards to make for various teachers & teaching assistants for next week, I needed simple but effective cards. In the end DS decided that maybe he didn't want one for his TA as she does all the Year 3 classes & not just his so I made these 4 in an hour...

I love my lil' green bug LOL And easy enough to make another if DS decides his TA should have one after all

Very pretty and unusual, Welly, I bet the recipients will be impressed. So much nicer than shop bought ones.

They are lovely Welly, with regards to the TA, they always seem to be left out, Claire's TA never even got a Christmas card,as the parents don't think of them as part of the team,even though they work blooming hard,saying that Claire only got 3 Christmas cards LOl but thats the type of school she works in IYSWIM.If it was me I would make her a card,as a nice sign of gratitude.If DS doesn't want to give her one maybe do it from you.

Lovely cards Welly really effective.

I so agree with you. I am a TA and the teachers get loads of pressies and we are really overlooked. Obviously I'm not in it for the presents but I would have loved to receive a card like that Welly. Everyone like to feel appreciated.

Hi, It's true, I am also a TA and despite working so hard and so closely with the kids, we do get overlooked. I'm sure a card would be really appreciated and they are so beautiful and delicate. x
(the cards, I mean!! Tho I'm sure some TAs are also beautiful and delicate!!) xx

Don't worry ladies, 2 of the cards already made are for DD's TAs, it was only cos DS rarely mentions his TA that I a) didn't realise he has a TA & b) was wondering if he wanted her to have one - she just kind of goes between all 3 classes in his year as far as I can tell. I will prob make her one
We always do pressies & cards for the TAs - AFAIK, most parents do in our school - in fact we're going out tomorrow specifically to buy various boxes of chocs for teachers & TAs

As I surmised, DS has relented & his TA now has a box of chocs so just need to pop another card together for her tomorrow...
