CC have got their new Spectrum Noir Pens on their site now, they do lots of sets and the good thing with them is that there are no repeats between all the sets which makes a nice change, I've got quite a few repeats with the Promarkers which is annoying. Apparently with these new pens you can replace the nibs and refill them. I haven't decided whether to get them yet, I've got a voucher to spend with them so might treat myself. Is anyone else going to get them?

They seem a good price at the moment, but as I have almost 100 promarkers, I really cannot justify buying these as well. Had they come out 2 months earlier, I would have probably gone for them.

I quite like the carry case they've got, I wonder if the Promarkers will fit in it, would be good if they did as I get fed up having to have my Promarkers in pen trays in the top of RU boxes, I think I'd use them more if they were easier to get at.

I will wait till my promarkers have run out as I too have got quite a lot, so cannot justify buying another set of pens. I will wait and see what other people think of them first before buying. I do find the repeats in the Promarker sets annoying.

I've given in and bought some, used the voucher I've got so it hasn't cost me much, if I like them I shall save up and get the rest, I bought a couple of the storage cases too, I'm hoping they will fit the Promarkers I've got.

I've ordered the pastel set - I dont use the darker colours much. They are cheaper than the promarkers, and I can never resist a new pen! (this is why I also have aquamarkers and a full set of the whispers pens!)

My pens arrived today, they are very juicy and the bullet tip is finer than the one on the promarkers, so should make colouring smaller items much easier. The storage case is so dinky, it stores 36 pens very neatly and should fit roughly the same number of Promarkers which will make them much more accessible so I should use them much more. I'm confined to bed today and dosed up to the eyeballs and am being looked after by OH who's taken a day off work to look after me, if I can get the pain under control I might ask OH to bring me up some stamped images I did last week, so I can have a go at colouring them in with my new pens.

I found when I put them in the little storage case, every time I took a pen out all the others moved and I didn't want them to get all muddled so I got a piece of A4 card and cut it into 3 pieces (DL style) then cut each of the 3 pieces in half, that made each piece just the right size to slide into the storage case between each row and as the card only comes half way up the pens it doesn't interfere with getting them in and out but stops them moving when you remove a pen, you could probably use the acetate from the pen packs if you didn't want to waste your card doing this.
