Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch

Hi, Does anyone have one of these punches? If so can you tell me please whether it works on card? I thought this style of punch was only for paper but in Craftstamper this month it looks as though it's been used on card. The design isn't as intricate as their other ones so I thought maybe it will.

I have it and it definitely works on card. I've used it on glitter card, foil card everything really
