Crafters Copanion new ultimate

mine was in bits when it came. I only have one arm so there was no way that i could assemble it. They should have said that you needed to attatch the hinges yourself. I usually love CC stuff, but wasn't impressed with that.

yes the original was fine, it was the new improed one. When I rang they asked if i wanted spare hinges! I sent it back to Ideal World in the end. Shame, aS IT LOOKED GOOD

I got the ultimate Pro a couple of weeks ago when it was a blockbuster, on c&c and it came in one piece.

mine was fine as well, it sounds as though yours was the exception, are you getting a replacement? Either way you should make sure that Sara knows, i'm sure she wouldn't be happy!

Mine was fine too for C&C.
I got the bag from Sara's site and it had a small slit in the material on the back of the bag. I phoned them and spoke to a very pleasant lady called Holly. She advised me to return it and she would replace it with a new one and one closely check it to make sure it was perfect. Said she would also put in a free gift to make up for the postage it would cost to send back.

Following week I received a new bag and a 50 sheet luxury paper pack. The thick flocked and embbosed kind. That was worth far more than the postage had been.

I know you got your ultimate from C&C lynnie, but I agree that it would be a good idea to contact Sara and let her know. Give the office a call and explain.

Well I got my ultimate pro direct and the hinges were off when it arrived, no problem me thinks they just clip together :rolleyes: yes every time I come to use it I have to clip it back together :mad: It would be totally useless if I had a similar disability to Lynnie. Granted the on going situation is of my own making as a haven't got around to talking to them about it :eek: However just thought Lynnie should know it wasn't just her board and there are others who have had the same.

I did ring CC., and they offered to send more hinges, but as I said., with one arm I couldn't put them on.
I was really disappointed cos it looked really good. I have lots of CC stiuff and have never had a problem b4. I might try again another time.

Legally they should offer to replace it, when it was shown on IW there were no separate hinges so that's how it should have arrived. I can't recall at all that there was any mention of self-assemly. If you want it replaced, call them back and remind them nicely that legally they are required to replace something that does not arrive as advertised. You don't have to be rude but simply stand your ground and make sure that they pay for your postage as well!
