My Nan's Buttons!!

Have been using my Nan's buttons, that have been sat in my cupboard for many years, to decorate some gift bags that I have made. Have posted a couple of photos here - the rest are on my blog!! The post has a bit of a nostalgic start - so forgive me if you do pop over to read it!!

I have a box of my Nan's buttons, we used to play shop with them when I was little. When she died and my parents asked what I wanted from the house, that was all I wanted. They smell like her :)

What a great idea. My Nan had a huge tin of buttons too. I wonder what happened to them? I do have an old box that was my grandparents' that I now store my buttons in.

I have a old tin filled with my Nans buttons, makes me smile to think of them. Sad to think that button tins/boxes are probably going out of fashion these days. I remember wonderful times the excitement of just seeing the button box appear. Such treasures inside...
