View Full Version : K & Co stuff, is this normal?

Am really miffed, I bought quite a few K & Co bits for scrapbooking mainly & I am not happy at all with the quality of some of them.....the embossed stickers I've tried so far don't exactly 'stick' brilliantly & have a tendency to lift at the corners/edges & as for rub ons, a fair proportion of the sheets in several of the booklets were ruined as half of them were actually stuck/transferred onto to the carrier sheets!

Those that did appear to be useable were awful to apply, lifting back off whatever they were applied to, crumbling/coming apart & leaving bits of themselves all over the carrier sheets, pretty rubbish all round really!

I was furious & binned a good amount of the rub ons in temper but was wondering if this is 'normal' for this brand? I don't know if maybe they were 'old' or something, some had come from QVC, some from eBay.......?
Really piddled off at the mo!

sounds like old stuff some rub-ons might dry up in a very dry environment. You should contact K&Co and see what they say

I might just do that Fab - both those thoughts did actually cross my mind after I'd had a  moment & violently ripped out/up the remaining sheets from one of the booklets.....but I do still have some of the offending articles left! LOL

I think once I'd got over being so blinkin' angry, I was more crushingly disappointed than anything, as they really were poo quality.....!

I love rub ons - as you know I don't see too well, so can't always face stamping something (tales me so long to colour in even the simplest of images, not to mention lining things up, or just holding the ruddy block! lol) but with rub ons I can still make something (hopefully!) quite nice! LOL

As you say, very annoying......I was very annoyed anyway! (Not that it takes much to annoy me! lol)

I have used a wide variety of K&Co and never had a problem with any of their products - such a shame that you had a problem.

I normally find K&CO the best of all rub ons and that's the only reason I pay the ridiculous price. I avoid cheap ones like the plague! I end up rubbing so hard either my craft lolly pop stick starts smoking or the rubbing dents my project. So frustrating!
