Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts 29 Sept - 01 Oct.

This is the only craft show we have in Wales and we didn't have it last year for some reason. I've been going for several years and always spend a fortune! LOL! One of my sisters lives in Cardiff and she comes with me but in the past I've also arranged to meet members of a forum there.
I usually go on the Thursday as it's so much quieter unless hubby wants to come then we go on Saturday. Is anyone else going and if so what day and shall we meet up? I haven't ordered my tickets yet so my plans are flexible.

Had a lovely day at the Cardiff show. Spent too much money of course! Met Debbie Moore too. What a lovely lady. She is another MAC computer fan. Our numbers seem to be growing.

C'mon then CC, 'fess up and we can vicariously enjoy your day with you :) Did you see PP?
Wish I lived nearer to where they have these shows *sulks* ;)

Unfortunateley not MB - I was there yesterday. I have visitors here at the moment, they're helping us to clear FIL's shed. Once they gp home on Sunday I'll report back on my stash.

Shame really that PP and I couldn't meet up but I am doing other things on a Thursday.

So, my shopping:

Really nice knitted jacket in shades of cream and light brown.
Crafting stuff. A daylight lamp at a very good price. Some Gorjuss girls stamps and some replacements for favourite colours of Promarkers. Lots and lots of silicone and photo glue. A ball of ribbon yarn to make yet another ruffle scarf (well I haven't got a pink and purple one) A blackwork kit with a design of cats. Think that was it!

Best thing about craft fairs though is meeting people who know what they are talking about, know what their product can do. I was really interesting to see Friendly Plastic being used and to be able to handle the product. I was good though, didn't buy any. One of the highlights for me was seeing some of the Downton Abbey costumes plus lots and lots of lovely embroidery and quilting projects.

The Cardiff fair really is tiny compared to some of the northern england shows. Well worth the ticket money though

Sounds smashing - I'd have loved to have seen those costumes. HHave fun with all your goodies.
