:)Love your 2 cards Phree. Beautiful colours. It's so nice that you send your husband an anniversary card! How many years have you been married? If I may ask?!

Thanks Gill. I am one of the lucky people.... I found a man who is a treasure, he is not perfect... who is?... but he puts up with me and that I can assure you that is no easy task... he has been putting up with me for 29 years..... so I think he deserves a card, don't you ;)

Oh and I was a child bride btw :D

Congratulations Phree, that's a long time married! It goes without saying you married at 10!;)

Lush cards as ever Phree :) When I was watching the Glimmer Mist show with the tree stamps I was almost tempted to use my dad's birthday as an excuse to buy the right this minute as I was feeling a bit stuck for a theme. The kids will be giving grandad an MM Egyptian exploding box, I will be doing a 'Happy Birthday' pop card (poss in an Egyptian stylee) but I'm struggling for a card from mum to him - the trees would be ideal...

Phree...you've done it again! They are lovely cards.
The Auguries Of Innocence card has to be one of the most beautiful cards I've seen (I do love the poem).:)

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Gill I love that poem, written 2 centuries ago and yet still so much in it for the world we live in today. As for the card - the beauty of the card is talent borrowed from those who design the stamps. It is probably my favorite card from my recent makes tho.

Wow waterlily, 37 years is a long time indeed! I find it sad that marriage seems to be a disposable state these days rather than a commitment for life.

Welly I hope you can share pics of the makes for your Dad's birthday when the time comes - while I may not be a knowledgeable about egyptology as you you are, I have as you know been collecting egyptian stash for nearly all the time I have been making cards cuz I do love the look it acheives - that exploding box sounds like it will be fab!
