What a lovely treat for yourself Marie. Have fun when it arrives? I forgot the show was on. Please tell me they are pronouncing Cricut properly today? http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a263/angietjuh/smiley/lol1.gif

What carts do you get with it?
And, ooh, are you going to Glenda's? Is it your first time? And is it a workshop? I was lucky enough to visit it in the summer when we were at the outlaws and I could have spent hundreds in there!!!
Sorry if I'm not up to speed with what's been going on but I haven't been online much recently :(

And Jeanette, Loen kept pronouncing it wrong but then correcting herself :p

I saw a bit of the show - had it on in the background but wasn't listening properly. I'm afraid Loen was getting right on my nerves so I kinda switched my ears off & carried on doing my Christmas shopping online.

Glad you got your deal Marie - think I've said before, if I was ever going to get one of the computerised die-cutting machines, I'd go for a Cricut...Obvioiusly ain't going to happen any time soon of course

You will love it, I've been playing with my ickle bug all day long.

Gonna save up my pennies in 2009 and buy the big un!

I also got the accessories pack for the cricut which had all the usual stuff, including the tools pack, extra mats and replacement blades, and some of the cricut paper pads, so that kit was good value as well. Also got some of that patterned mirri card for my stash and tape pens, I managed to use a couple up the other week in one day when I got carried away matting and layering trying to do Christmas cards!! lol!
And yes all being well tomorrow I'm off to Glenda's Openday, just hoping the roads are okay as the A66 across the Pennines is sometimes closed if the roads are bad. ~But I think that Barnard Castle is close enough to the A1 to be okay. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to going, I love stamping (hence asking for recommendations elsewhere on the forum) so I'm going to stock up on some inkpads and I'm sure that some stamps will find their way into my basket....I'm hoping that someone will be doing some stamping demos so I can see how the professionals do it. I'll let you all know what I get if anyone is interested.
So this week has been my Christmas shopping for myself, there won't be any more treats this side of the new year, but I've got some LOVELY stuff and am a very lucky lady!
Just as well I work for myself, it made getting the day off work easy, lol!

Nice early christmas pressy Marie, have fun playing with it.

Barnard Castle is just off the A67 if you are approaching from the west on the A66. It's approximately 30 mins from BC to Scotch Corner where the 66 meets the A1. Have fun at the open day tomorrow, looking forward to hearing all about it.
