would cutting felt on the expression break it?

I seem to remember mel saying something about cutting felt on the expression, but can't remember do you think it would break the expression or would the cut just not be as sharp, also would it cut better if I backed it heat n bond? thanks.

I think felt is too unstable & dense even with heat n bond tocut on the expression but I could be wrong! I know youu can cut it very successfully on the Big Shot though :)

Mel did mention that felt is one of the things that does not cut with a electronic machine even if backed first , felt cuts well with hand worked machines like the cuttle bug ect especially if you use spellbinders, although the nature of felt does not work well with intracate designs.
