This is my latest creation, a 7 x 7 inch scrapbook album using the gorgeous 5th Avenue Paper by Melissa Frances. I made the cover and spine from chipboard and covered it in paper. I wanted the album to take standard 6 x 4" photos, so I made lots of photos mats slightly bigger than this to go into the pockets. I used lots of Spun Sugar and Antique Linen Distress Ink to give a 'shabby chic' look.

The daylight here today is really bad so the colours in the photos look more 'washed out' than they actually are.

Thanks for looking.:) Well it's been a work in progress fro the past 2 weeks. I'm glad to finally get it finished so I can get on with my Christmas cards!

I so love Melissa Frances 5th Ave papers and keep topping up my supply from Dunelm Mills, got the new xmas papers too.

Very impressive Rachel, and beautiful muted, soft colours. I'm determined to scrap our summer holiday during the Christmas break!
