I already own quite a few of the Cosmic Shimmer paints and was wondering how the H20's are different.
I am sitting on my hands over buying them as I have loads of Cosmic Shimmer products and don't really want to start buying H20's and the Luminarte sprays etc if they are much the same thing.
Your advice folks would be much appreciated.

I find the H2Os to be slightly less shimmery and last far longer than the Cosmic Shimmers. The Cosmic Shimmers seem quite loosely packed if you know what I mean and once you start to use them they use up very quickly, whereas the H2Os are very dense, have loads more pigment and literally last for years. Some of the H2Os I have are not particularly 'twinkling' and are good if you don't want a shimmery look although most do have a shimmer. I would say if you wanted a light shimmer background the Cosmic Shimmers would be ok. I do have both and in my opinion the H2Os are far better value for money. I haven't checked but would say to shop around as C & C are selling them for about £2 per pot which seems quite expensive.

I am soooo bad! I really did drop out of everything over the Christmas holidays, including forums! I'm a bad, bad, fusioneer!
So sorry it's taken a while (ahem!) to respond - I've only just found this!
I would say what I always have, through many years of using and loving H2O's then Cosmic's - I never cease to be amazed at the amount of vibrant pigment that is packed into those tiny little H2O pots and they do last absolutely ages! Having said that, Cosmic Shimmers seem to max out with mica! They really don't skimp on the stuff, so if it's bling you want...
So, here's how I stand: They're both fantastic products (if I didn't think so, I would honestly not promote them), but if you already have one type, unless you want to add more colours to the mix (and they both play really well together!) use what you have until you're ready to buy more! Does that sound fair enough?

Thank you for answering Sheena. I am so poor at the moment so all craft spending is off the cards at the mo. I will buy some H20's as and when I need new colours.
I am looking forward to lots of your new products in 2010.
Hope you and The Gopher have a fab 2012!!
Love

I'm with Sheena on this, as I have both. I actually find the Cosmic Shimmers go on easier, and have also found my H20s went into holes quite quickly. As for the finished result, horses for courses. I even have mine all stacked together, but even with the lids off and glued to the plastic discs that come with blank cds/dvs (and stored in cake cases - spindles to you and me) I can still tell which are which by the density of the colour. I had every single CS colour in their little jars, but I dare say since I managed to collect them all they have increased the range, but I didnt buy anymore cos there are so many other methods of colouring and only so much storage space.
