I have had a look, and couldt find anything else on this. I originally stored my spellbinders on the back of their packs in DL Shaped boxes, now that I have quite a few, I wanted to find them easily, so brought a lot of A4 magnetic sheets, and store them on then, but I do find they are very heavy, and often slip. Tonight when perusing on that ever so popular auction site, I came across someone selling their spellbinders, and when looking at the photo, they store them in clear CD cases, using a couple of magnetic strips on the back to keep them in place.
I thought this was a great idea, and perhaps a better way of storing them than i am currently, this would solve the storage for my regularl nesties, but not for my grand nesties. Does anyone else have any other useful ideas for storing them.
there is a folder from spellbinders I use an A4 folder with magnetic sheets for grand dies!!!!!!!!!!

I use one of those HUGE 240 pocket cd/dvd storage cases. Very heavy duty fabric cover, a good quality zip and the dies are slipped into the pockets on magnetic sheets. Obviously you can't fill every pocket because that would make it impossible to a) close and zip it and b) lift it. Yes it is heavy, but I have all my current Marianne, Nesties, Cheery Lynn and Memory Box dies in it. I put the largest dies in the bottom pockets then they can overlap the upper pocket and not poke out of the top.
My Go Kreates which are considerably larger are in an A5 storage folder backed onto magnetic sheets and stored in A5 wallets.

I use an RUB box ( a big one) for all my die cuts and embossing folders. Stored on metallic sheets where possible, everything stacked on its side. Card dividers according to type. Box is so heavy though I can no longer lift it off the floor!
So far Grand Nesties are stored flat in an A4 box. Think I am going to have to have a reorganise soon

I also use the cd cases like looby for my dies and my stamps but what I do is I buy the clear A4 plastic sleeves from tesco which come in packs of 25 for just over a pound and cut these down to fit the folder rather than use the inserts themselves.
I have a large cd case that at the moment houses my craft cd roms and recorded tv craft shows but I think I may have to change its use to die storage as it is large enough to house my grand nesties (not that I have many - only 3 but its a start lol). So it looks like there may be some reorganisation going on in my craft room this New Year lol.
I tend to buy my cases from the auction site - I look out for the non fabric ones cos at least I can wipe them clean as I can be a bit of a messy crafter lol.
Just checked the red 'spellbinder die carry case' its £37 I think mine was about £19.99 ok some years ago but flippin eck!!!!!!!!
I think will stick to me A4 folders and buy the A4 magnetic sheets for me new dies!!!!!!!

I've got my shape dies in folders but my Nestabilities are on hooks. I've only got a small selection but I will put the sets on book rings and double them up on the hooks if I get any more. Now I have a Calibur my Grand Nesties (when I get some) will be stored like that too.

My wall is full of ribbons and other rubbish hanging in those wardrobe shoe hanger things, plus I have way too many dies to hang up like that, but it's an excellent idea for a few and if you have the space to do it. Lynne you are way too tidy!

When I used to craft in the box room where the PC is I bought some magnetic tape and stuck it in strips to one side wall of the computer desk which worked brilliantly, now I'm crafting in the sitting room I keep all my thin cutting dies on magnetic sheets in an A5 storage box, it's not as convenient as when they were on the magnetic strips on the computer desk, but it does work. We're going to have a move around upstairs and put all the wardrobes and drawer units into the spare room, making it a large dressing room, then I'm going to put a long worktop right along one wall in the bedroom and have units underneath to store all my crafty goodies, when that's all sorted I might be able to put the magnetic tape up again and make the dies much easier to get to.

Firstly - LynneH - WOW! I am so impressed by your craft area! Mine looks like an explosion in a recycling centre!
Secondly - I am still keeping my Spellbinders in their original packets, using a light double sided tape to hold them on the cardboard. I had a few nesties and then was lucky enough to get the first C&C multibuy which was so brilliant it just about covers every occasion. xxx

I always put the smaller nesties in a cd case with magnetic strips then cut the picture out to slide into the cover so I can easily see what is inside. I then store them upright in a small RUB box so I can just flip through them. The larger spellbinders are a bit more of a problem. Some are on a4 sheets inside a clear folder pocket but I agree this makes them a little weighty so want to cut them smaller but not quite sure how I will sort them then.

LynneH - your craft area is awesome. Mine looks like a rubbish heap!
I have my nesties in the Joy magnetic folders - I need to get more as I got some nesties for Xmas. My problem is the mountain of Sir Tim's Alterations dies!

May I say thank you to LynneH for her piccy of her craft room - it inspired me yesterday to get in mine and have a good sort out. I had already cleared away after christmas but everything was just all over so a long re-arrangement of shelves and now everything has a place yet again.
I also found an A4 folder that my dad gave me long long ago (well he passed away 21 years ago so it shows how old it is) and I have no idea how it got in my craft room but it is spiral bound and inside it are five double sided heavyweight pockets which will be perfect for storing my grand nesties on magnetic sheets. I have just slipped them inside on the card they came on for the moment, my magnetic sheets are in the post so should be with me shortly.
Back in there today for a good few hours of crafting with my Sue Wilson and Barbara Grey DVD's for inspiration and aspiration - one day I may be half as good lol.

I have all my nesties in plastic wallets from LOTV, they are 10p each and quite sturdy. I cut out the picture from the pack and add a small square of magnet sheet. They take up less room than cd cases and very easy to flick through. Not big enough for the Grand Nesties though.

"Wow"!! (and I really mean Wow in the nicest possible way and full of admiration)............what an organised room............thanks for showing how a craft room can look. I have a limited space at the moment and everything is in boxes which are so difficult to get what you want out of them that it puts me off even getting stuff out! Surely, one of these days, one of my sons (aged 28 and 26) will move out and give me a room (or perhaps a lottery win would help). Meanwhile I'll struggle on and maybe even one day try to organise myself.
Thanks again, Lynne and also to everyone else who have come up with such good ideas on storage.

Just to add to this, I keep my dies in concertina folders, started with the Anna Griffin floral one, which came in a set I bought, and now have stationary ones, keeps them seperate, and can find them easily.

I have the magnetic sheets too. I put double sided tape on the back and stuck them on the front of my craft cupboards. I can see them easily now and use them a lot more.
