I am looking for a map stamp but so far my search has been unsuccessful. I tried to 'Google' it but just come up with lots of sites of companies that either sell or make rubber stamps and a map of how to get there. I know EI sell an antique map stamp but I was looking for something more like a road map as I have lots of car decoupage I would like to do some backgrounds for. Oh ruddy heck - I vaguely remember QVC doing a set of (poss wood backed) stamps which included a costal map...I'm beggered if I can remember the make though...Hmmm...
Other than that, I've seen cards that just use old out of date maps as backing paper - would that work?

It was a Sarah Lugg stamp which I can't track down anywhere at the moment. I've done the old map look on cards - just looking for a different style and thought a stamp would be nice.

Hmm, went back for a closer look and it's of Paris so possibly not very useful to you.
This thread has made me closely examine the stampers anonymous stamps though and they are very tempting!!

Many thanks Diana - it is just the thing I was looking - sadly it could do with being about half the price. No wonder I couldn't find that one when it is called 'Road Trip' Now do I save up my pennies or just dismiss it as being too expensive?

That was the one on QVC some time back. I've never been sure about ordering from the US and I can't find it in the UK.

She's English but lives in the States so you don't see her stuff here very often - and I also wish I'd got that one when it was on qvc!

I was thinking exactly the same - it's that stamp that got me thinking.

I have the sarah lugg one, it's nice I used it for a scrap book page once.
Why don't you get a map book and rip the pages out and use them as a background? then put your decoupage on top?

Are you still looking for this stamp? I've found a website, it's in the UK, but according to it they've only 2 left. Price is £9.50...don't know what their P+P is.
