Sorry, my 2nd CD query in a week...

For various reasons I have only just got to opening these CDs. They are my first MCS CDs and I am flummoxed by them. I opened CD1 and it said which MCS programme to install. I installed the Professional onto my hard drive but not the art work (I don't want to install in and would prefer to keep it on the disk). Now, how do I get into all these lovely images that made me want to purchase the disk in the first place?

I'm not super techie will CDs but I've used Joanna Sheen and you just insert them into your computer and get the menu. I am sure it's very simple with MCS but my brain can't work it out! :undecided:

All suggestions appreciated!

Thanks.

You should find an options column on the left hand side of your screen. Click, I think, on the CD you have downloaded and the image choices should come up without you saving them to hard drive.

Think I've got all that right.

Muffintop, there should be a folder called MCS artwork with a plus sign if you click on that then on the next folder MY ARTWORK (also with a + sign) your CD name should come up then click on that and all the folders will be there. Click onto a folder you want and then you just drag and drop into the grid space on the right. Once your images on the grid you can size resize and generally do loads with it. x

If you didn't install the artwork, you will have to put the cd in the computer when you want to use the artwork.

Hi everyone and thanks for your replies. I know I need to keep the CD in the computer to access the artwork but it was finding the art work that was confuzzling me!

I'm off to try your suggestions out.

Thanks x

Hi everyone and thanks again.

I have now found the contents of the CDs and they are absolutely as stunning as I remember.

On my old computer using a CD was easy-peasy but with Windows 7 it seems to like to make it slightly harder. Still, another thing learnt!

Thanks again (how I love this forum).
