Why don't we get plain ol' POTD's anymore?

No idea what the Blockbuster is yet - but I see they're launching at 9pm on Craft Day on 'the other channel' :D

Welly, POTD's never sell out anymore. By calling it a blockbuster they can flog it to death for a whole week :D

And despite being told repeatedly that there were no more 'till Christmas! Although I do shop with CAC (on carefully selected items), I have never known any organisations tell so many lies as this one does.

well, we could try to guess. Personally I'd anticipate a mega cutsey kit with die cut decoupage waterfall designs on foiled embossed cards.......am I missing any of Steph's favourites there??

though I had to laugh before, switched onto C&C during the 6pm hour and Michelle doing stuff with a luxury 12 x 12 paper pack, when she said something like "don't switch off because you think it's just for scrapbooking!", lol! It's seems expensive though, £17.99 for 50 sheets, especially at a POTW price. Not my sort of thing eitehr, but I'm sure lots of others will like it.

You missed the bit about the fabulous blockbuster taking your crafting to another level ;)

Mind you this begs the question - just how many levels of Tackiness are there?

hehe, well I'm quite happy playing at the sandbox level with perhaps just the occasional level of brilliance!

Ah - technically they said there'd be no more Craft Weekends/Days with the free p&p before Christmas. This isn't a Craft Day, just what they used to call a POTD...

Because they always have too much stock for just a potd - though always claim to be a quarter of the way through the stock on the first day of a 4dd
I won't be buying as I've picked up loads of bargains from them recently - despite the Victorian cameo and pearl multibuy selling out the first day that the sale show was on they've managed to get more stock in at least twice :p so I grabbed that and various other little bargains.
So no cash left for the blockbuster...especially when it'll turn up in a few weeks on an extravaganza!!!

They obviously planned this to come after QVC's craft day, I bet they watch QVC then amend their prices!

There's still no listing for tonight's launch show on the C&C site - haven't checked IW yet - they seem a little tardy...

Just switched over from QVC to see what the 4-day deal is....blimey! Are they going to have a sale of "sale" signs after this?! Ok Weightman! We get it....there's a sale going on! They've got more sale signs than products!

Maybe it's because I've just watched a day of craft on QVC but this set, presentation and product looks even tackier than normal!

gosh you're right I've just had a look at the product list and the MIC kits seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper - one is £9.78! Isn't the Blockbuster also a reduced item?

Not sure - probably - didn't really see it. I saw it was a multibuy of a previous POTD - is it just 2 kits of the same thing?

I think Ideal world could take a leaf out of QVCs book. I loved the 1 minute craft deals yesterday.much more refreshing than repeating the same things about 1 product for an hour

Trouble is they repeat the programmes every 3-4 hours with the same products every time. Not enough variety for me to keep watching. Shame because sometimes they do have good deals and it is quite nice to see different guests who have different styles of crafting.

Wonder what Steph really thought of having to present the same show so many times live in one day. The same old things they have been trying flog for weeks in their 'sale' programmes.
The blockbuster is indeed a previous pick of the day infact i think it was previous blockbuster not very long ago with Nancy doing the demos.
Even Steph had to do demos in the end . Must have been bored.
