It's been reduced by over £6, Ian, and is actually not a lot more than half the original price.

I hope the albums live up to your expectations and you enjoy them, Sheila. :)

umm you would have paid the same p and p if you had ordered the item at full price so you have to add it in to the full price as well as the reduced price to get a valid comparison so original total cost 19.63 reduced total cost 13.19 saving 6.44

I think it looks sweet, especially if you like those colours, especially at the reduced price.

I saw that too Sheila and thought it looked lovely especially as a gift idea. Are the books really small?

They sound lovely SheilaJ and a good price for Thai silkbound. Let us know what you think of them when they arrive.

This arrived today and I am pleased for the money. The original pic looks like they come in a slip case but its actually a solid cloth covered padded box with a lid. You get two plain paper books, one labelled journal and one birthdays, a photo album and the other album is labelled cards. This has clear slip ins for business sized cards which isn't that useful so I plan to gut it and do something else with it...maybe a book shaped box conversion to hide secrets in. I don't think that the holders are big enough for ATC's but they would be for inchies.
The box is sort of tigery stripes in dark brown and black....it might need some bling and gold ribbon or a strap and buckle....got some nice buckle bling from Dips last year...must hunt it out.
The books are soft green, pink, blue and beige and the labels are embroidered into the spine of each book.
Not exactly a must have, but a bit of a bargain to play with.

edit: I have no brain, there is no blue book, its a coffee brown colour :)

What a shame the card one isn't a useful size - I looked at that kit & thought it might be worth it just for that album, but if it's not even big enough for A6 cards, there's no point. Hang on, doesn't the description make it sound like it's for greetings cards??

...goes to look...

---- edit -----
Hmmm, not specifically, but the last sentence is 'This set will make a great gift for a keen crafter' which to me implies the Card album should store cards...
