Craft Stamper - Feb Issue [Archive]

I believe the Feb issue was due out on the 2nd of January - a holiday in Scotland. However I am assuming that means it should have arrived via the post before then for people who subscribe. Does anyone who subscribes have theirs?

I still don't have mine - never got the January one either (on sale from early Debember) - I had to phone them and get them to send me a copy so it looks like they still have not got my subscription sorted out.

smiths didn't have it yesterday, so I got a copy from the local craft shop today I love the stamp.

I have a subscription and usually receive my copy before the publication date, not so this month. If it doesn't arrive on Monday I'll be in touch with them, that's about as patient as I can be.

The cover stamp this month is a heart tag by Blonde Moments.

I made a special trip on the bus to get one from WHS yesterday (annoyingly we have a branch just opened here but they've said they won't be stocking it as they are a small store and I don't want them to order it in for me as I'm planning to subscribe) and the lady looked it up on the computer for me as they didn't have any out. She said it is running a few days late with whs due to the holidays.
Grr, I was looking forward to this and it'll be a couple of weeks now until I can get one.
I think I'll ask if they can order it in for me just the once.
eta Not keen on the stamp but that's just because I don't do hearts.

I've just caught this thead - I am a subscriber to Craft Stamper and I haven't received the Feb issue and I don't think I received the Jan issue. I have recently posted about my concerns on their delivery of mags but as I have been so busy lately I have put it to the back of my mind. So I will have to ring them tomorrow, and tbh don't think I will bother renewing my subscription, I wonder if they are having financial problems it does seem strange it hasn't been sent out.

I got my Feb issue on Thursday but when I used to buy it I was always told by my WH Smith that they got it in on 5th of every month so I always assumed it came out then.

You won't believe this, but I've been on the site and I don't think I have received the last four issues!! I have been so busy lately that I haven't noticed but just thought I hadn't received one - I don't know how I am going to persuade them that I'm telling the truth because most people would have noticed. Oh well, will ring and see what they say but am annoyed at myself for not noticing sooner.

hummm, looks like CS isn't as efficient since it changed over. I'm lucky that I can pick it up down town, not fair that subscribers aren't getting theirs first!

I got mine around when I would normally expect to see it from a large WH Smith. Obviously it seems to have been a bit hit and miss the month. I was going to subscribe but there seems little point if you get it earlier from the shop.

I decided to subscribe to get the gift offer last month. The money was taken out of my a/c on 18th December but I haven't received the gift; I've just spoken to them on the phone and they're going to chase it up, so fingers crossed I should get it soon. The lady I spoke to also told me that the sub'ers copies (of the March issue) should be going out very soon, so it'll be interesting to see if we get them before the shops!

Havent treated myself to a craft magazine for ages, till the weekend that is :D when i bought Craft Stamper, have to say that i have quite enjoyed this edition, Granddaughter got her glabbies on the stamp though and now i dont know where it is :eek:

lol Glabbies would be eyes, and i think i have found the stamp, well Marzipan says its under there, pointing to a rather large heap of craft stuff :rolleyes: havent had the energy to look yet :D

There doesn't seem to be the same problem this month. Things are back to normal and my copy arrived this morning.
I've just come up for air, it's a great edition.

Woohoo...... my Craft Stamper arrived today .... the first one since I subscribed that I have not had to chase up on the phone...... so I am hoping they have got the teething troubles sorted out now. Not had time to read it yet, will be doing that later on with a nice cuppa!

I finally got the Feb edition last week and I think it's my favourite one since I started reading it a few years ago.
I'm definitely trying the faux dichroic glass for starters :)

Diana can you let me know if you find a supplier for the sea glass used in that tutorial The site listed has no sea glass available and I cant find anywhere else that seems to have it. If anyone else know where to buy some please let me know, thanks

Oh no, I looked last week and they were selling it but warning that they cut it when requested so it might take a while to fill orders. I might email them over the weekend to see if they will be relisting it when they are caught up.
Otherwise I need a trip to the coast to pick up some off the beach.
I put a query in over on the big forum but no sponsors were selling it :(
