I got an email from them today but I don't know what Pondskipper is. Are the items really seconds? Have they been used and returned as some things are awfully cheap.

I've been into Pondskippers, they get a lot of their stuff from C & C (not all though) Most of it looks in good condition. Don't think it's seconds but there could be some seconds there.

Dips and Diana Dreads have also been there and I think they both thought it was OK.

It's a warehouse type of place.

I wondered that too. IW also have a clearance shop in Peterborough, I've only been in there a couple of times and they haven't had any craft stuff in there but it is very small. The warehouse is quite big and quite cluttered.lol
Haven't been there for a while as it's closed on Friday when we do our shopping in Peterborough. We live about 20 miles away and I can't get there on my own as I don't drive. My hubby just loves looking at craft stuff (I don't think lol) so I don't get there that often.:rolleyes::(

Hello All

sorry it's been a while since we have been on CT. Following Maisie Daisy's post.The sale is over now but thanks for all who came and shopped with us. we do have a offers on still but the whole site is not on sale.
I was reading this thread and thought tio clear something up. Yes we do have some of C&C returns but this makes up a small percentage of our offering they are mainly card kits (or parts of card kits) that sell quickly as people save quite a bit but also can add to the kits they purchased from C&C and still have elements left over. We buy clearance stock from well known suppliers too.

We supply all sorts of items from Pinflair Glue to Helix Craft Rooms, some we do not put on the web such as Cosmic Shimmer as many others already provide this item, but we do have it in stock in the shop.

We are intending to attend some craft shows this year - the first planned is Shepton Mallet at the end of April where we will have some special offers. And readers of Making Cards Magazine and the Parchment Craft magazines will have a special reader offer on the 17th saving them 58% (£39.99 instead of £95.92). Curtrently we have an offer at £17.50 (half price) for an item which is on QVC right now for £35! Brand new - not returns.
We try to provide a variety but probabley will not have the latest Bear or Fairy designs (Although we do have Tumble Ted which was a POW on Ideal World as we designed it!)

I've had a couple of orders from Pondskippers which I have been really pleased with, really good prices and perfect items ... I've been avoiding the site though cos there is too much I want to buy! :(
