Is there anywhere in the UK that has a full range of DCWV products? I've been looking for ages for a couple of the specific paper pads, originally saw one (the 12 x 12 metallic pad) on QVC last year and I've been on waitlist for ages but still no sign of it turning up, plus a couple of others that I'll know when I see them, IYSWIM!!! But more than anything I love their stuff and would just love to be able to see the whole range, or at least a very good selection. A lot of places seem to have a few things in stock, but there must be somewhere that has a really good selection. Any ideas out there???
Anyway as it is now 25 to 3 and I'm still wide awake, I'm going to find some anti-histamines and see if I can get myself off to sleep. I hate nights like this....I'd do some crafting if I could think of something simple that i want to make. Sleep tight everyone!!!!!;)

Hmmmm...Do you mean you want to see the products in real life, rather than online Marie? The Papermill shop in Liverpool had a decent stock once over, but the last couple of times I've been in, their general stock levels of just about everything was dire - don't know why

Are you anywhere near The Range, Tulip retail park, Hunslet? I wonder if they have any on display. I went to our local branch last w/e and they had quite a few DCWV bits.

Hmm, actually I'm just a couple of miles from Hunslet, probably worth a trip to find out for myself.
I'd actually be happy to see the stuff on line as well, it's just that no-one seems to have a full range of it.

OOh eck luvtocraft, I might just be having palpitations at teh amount of stuff stamps.co.uk have on their website - 74 different DCWV pads alone, never seen this site before, i could just end up looking on it all day long.....
Only thing of course is that all of the DCWV stuff is full price, the 12 x 12 pad I mentioned is £19.56 on its own and when you can get it at QVC, you get the 12 x 12 and the 8 x 8 for less than £20 together. But then QVC hardly ever seem to have it in stock. I've been on waitlist for months and they still don't know when it'll be in, although as they have DCWV on Craft Day, perhaps they'll have stacked up by then??
Right, must do a bit of work and I can peruse stamps.co.uk this evening while firmly sitting on my VISA card

Thanks Luvtocraft, that was the site I was thinking of when I wondered if Marie wanted to see the product for real or online

Marie I've used stamps.co.uk loads of times & their service isn't too bad. It's their permanent sales section you have to be wary of LOL I have them bookmarked in my 'everyday' Craft file - that would be the sites I check routinely when I go online (also includes CT.com, Graphicus, JS & FoilPlay :D )

Hmmm, well I can see myself having a little treat sometime soon, I just LOVE the DCWV pads, I have the luxury pearlised ones and they are just gorgeous. Might just have to bookmark that site as well.......

This may be of interest, I'm not sure if it's happening nationwide but my local WH Smiths have been having a 50% off sale of their adult craft items and I've just acquired a number of DCWV pads which just tumbled into my basket.
They may have the one you're after.

Marie, I have the DCWV Once Upon a Time 12x12 scrapbook and papers etc - it's just for me. I am going to craft my poetry, stories and, possibly, ATCs one day. A sort of craft record of my arts & crafts.

I'm using their nursery kits to create a scrapbook of the first year in the life of a friend's baby boy. It's lovely to use. Their plain pastel cardstock is gorgeous too. And, yes, I'm very attracted to the pearly card.

When you are sitting on your card later on Marie, don't forget to forget the numbers - I know mine by heart - it is fatal!

Lola that's a lovely idea, to do a craft record, as you say just for yourself, such a good idea! And who needs their visa card for the numbers????? I know mine better than my birthday, lol!!

Thanks all for the suggestions, Dips can get the stuff I want at a good price, so as soon as I've got some spare pennies, I'll be putting in an order with her. But I'll be having a look around at the other places people have suggested just to see what is available, I do love DCWV stuff and like browsing at it all!
Just on the issue of price, I know that QVC do the best prices (even taking into account P&P) but it drives me up the wall that they often don't have popular items in stock. Dips' prices are the best I've got elsewhere, a little more expensive than QVC but then her prices include P&P so overall her prices are pretty good. So that's a bit of a promo for Dips!! Definately worth asking her for a price on something specific if you can't easily find it elsewhere.
I do find it frustrating having to wait months to get certain things from QVC - last year I was trying to get some Northern Nights basic pillowcases to match the sheets I'd bought from them and eventually gave up waiting after they still didn't have them in stock after 6 or 7 months of waiting. So I don't mind paying a little extra for something I want instead of being on a 6 month waitlist at QVC and not knowing if and when I'll get the items. They are sort of missing the point of "C" standing for "convenience" when they don't keep all of their items in stock on a regular basis.

I'm not sure how far you are willing to travel Marie, but I was at Boundary Mill in Colne at the weekend and they had quite a good range of DCWV pads in stock - and all at discounted prices too. I remember they had the metallic pad in 8 x 8, but I don't recall if they had the 12 x 12. I managed to resist buying any more paper and contented myself with buying a couple of Forever Friends stamps and some blingy metal brads (586868 on QVC last week) for £2.49 a pack.

Ooh it's probably worth a trip just to go and have a look and stroke teh papers for a minute or two, but then by the time I've paid for the petrol, I might as well get them from Dips as her prices are so good. But thanks for the suggestion!

I blame you Marie for making me spend more money. (only joking) I was in papermill on saturday and spotted the 12x12 metallic pad. So had to have alook and it was reduced to 13.99 so of course I had to have it it would have been rude not too.:) thing was it wasn't even on my wish list until i had read this thread. Must admit it is gorgeous and i have used some for Hubby's card

Luvtocraft, that is a fantastic price! Can't wait until I've got some spare pennies to get some, even if I can't get it at that price, but I've been craving it ever since I saw it on QVC last year! Hope you enjoy yours!! I'm only a bit jealous.......lol!!
