Invitation to take part in the Easter Bunny swap

Hi Everyone

Just to say that I am launching this years Easter Bunny Swap and inviting you all to join in.

If you have recently joined, you are very welcome to join in. If you'd like to take part, send me a PM of your name and addy. If you have taken part in swaps I have run in the past, the chances are I will probably have your details already.

For the benefit of those new to craft telly, your details will only be kept for the purpose of swaps and are only retained for that purpose and not made available without your express permission to anyone else.

Thats the business part out of the way, previous swaps have been great fun and everyone taking part has enjoyed them.

As for the card itself, it can take any form you like, we have had books, boxes etc all sorts in the past. As a theme and these are SUGGESTIONS, you could do flowers, bunnies, eggs, spring, lambs etc.What I will do is compile a list from here and PMs, sort out a list nearer the time and PM everyone with who they are swapping with and supply them with the name and address to send it to.

This time round, the only Secret is the people involved in the swap don't know who they are swapping with, until they receive the card. I suggest all cards go on the forum on Maunday Thursday (day before Good Friday) and are on for a week giving people a chance to guess before the grand reveal. Any questions please ask here or if you prefer by PM.

Well I'm MIA due to heavy month in March...but...as the list is staying open till the 20th I may yet join as all my March cardmaking needs to be done for the 24th.

However, the other thing that's holding me back a bit is also the fact that it's FIL's birthday on Good Friday amongst other things, so I may struggle to actually take part, as it were.

Hi Lorraine, I'm not ignoring this swap but being realistic about that I have coming up just after Easter - my father's 80th birthday bash being held near us with all and sundry descending here for the weekend. I will be on energy conservation mode for April leading up to that. Afterwards - who knows! Good Luck to all taking part - I'll really look forward to seeing your cards online.

Well said Sugarplum, it would be nice to see some of our newer members joining if. No pressure folks we are not twisting anyone's arm, but just incase you are one of the newbies and have been feeling a bit shy about joining a swap then please don't feel shy - EVERYONE is welcome no matter what their level of experience or card making style.

Probably guilty of stating the obvious here, but don't take the list as any guide of who is swapping with who, I do like to mix things up and at this moment I have no idea of who is swapping. :D
