I sended my swap to Lorraine at the same time as her bithday card so she didn't open it till her birthday...And then confusion hit & she was trying to work out why I'd sent 2 (well 3 actually, see below) birthday cards! You're quite right Welly (and Phree). Feel a bit of a cheat, most of my work was done trying to get the printing right. I've used some lovely pearlescent card which allowed the ink to give a somewhat blurry/soft image, which is what I wanted but no matter which text font/size I used I couldn't get the words to show up clearly so eventually I had to use a white pen to write over them. Prima did all the work as far as the flower is concerned.

I fell in love with the tiny tassels last summer at my local craft shop, they are only pence each. I did see the size up at that snazzy ribbon shop in London and they were nearly £2 each.

Funny enough. I find smaller easier, large cards are very unforgiving, every mistake is there is glorious technicolour !

I just assumed the frame had been cut with nestabilies - the classic rounds and co-ordinating scalloped rounds - but I guess if you line up carefully you could do it with co-ordinating punches too.

lol yep, although sometimes i shy away from the word pretty, dont ask me why i am not really sure, maybe because i think other people may think it doesnt mean much, digging a hole here so stopping now :D

Naw, pretty is a good word for that card - I had fun making it too cuz it was a bit of an experiment - it's all made from a single piece of Moondust card. I was curious to find out if Moondust card would take ink from my brayer - and dry - it did but it seemed to need a gentle heat set. If any of you have bought Stardream card (oor dips is a good source for that) I suspect it will take a dye based ink pad too as both Moondust and Stardream seem to be pretty much identical card - I was using a Kaliedacolor pad.

Anna, no glimmer mists - the shimmer is from the card itself, some Stickles Glitter, and H2O paints used to paint the Daisy border.

It's here (http://www.createandcraft.tv/Clear_Sparkle_Adhesive_Film_10x25mm_10_Sheets_1436 06.aspx?search=143606) on the C&C site. The sheets are about the size of standard peel off sheets. IIRC it was on a Card Creations show. They didn't seem to do much with it actually, it just looked interesting - basically clear sticky plastic film with glitter in it that you stick over the top of whatever.

Oh Dear! firstly i have to confess that the image isnt stamped :o hangs head in shame but its a (whispers) kanban topper oh lordy be kind!! i did colour it in though:) its from the same topper sheet that i did Marzipans half and half card with, i used a double sided sticky sheet on top of the image and then covered the whole lot in diamond dust and brushed of the excess! ta da!
