Advertisements are generally designed to stand out and not fit into the overall design of a site. After the brown phase, everyone campaigned for pink and blue - you got it now, so no more tantrums! *Shakes fist* :)

As Liam says, the advertising banner has to contrast, otherwise it would fade away into the background. Its very pink, but not unpleasant or unuseable

I love the pink as I love bright colours the brighter the better and I also love the orange it is such a great shade would like a Tshirt in that colour, wait a minute I already have one LOL. Orange is fab with a tan IMHO

Easy on the eye, but I am a purple/lilac person LOL
The pink is better than plain white though which is just a killer on the eyes.
