Just to mention that I got Issue 1 this week from http://www.elegancecraftanddesigns.com - I ordered it on Monday and it arrived today. They are still showing Issue 1 as available on their misc section so worth checking if you missed it elsewhere.

Brilliant magazine, isn't it Marie? I have Issue 2 from Sharon Duncan and OH is going to subscribe to it for me. I have photocopied the index pages and these re being filed so I can find things fairly easily. I decided the safest place for the papers and die-cuts is in the magazine until I want to use them!

Is the magazine better than the ones you can buy in the shops and does it concentrate on any particular area of card making

Well I haven't had a chance to look at it yet Sugarplum, so maybe Lola can help out there?

Oh dear, I would hate to mislead anyone but here goes...
Issue 1 is based on Mothers Day as it was brought out in March. Issue 2 is special occasions like New Home.
I think it is good because the cards are achievable. Like all craft mags, much of it is advertising but the projects have been created by craft shops around the country and online. So ordering anything you need should be easy as long as their stock levels hold out.
For me, the freebies are the best I've seen because the quality of the paper is convincingly equal to the best we buy. Other magazines produce papers that are no better than the pages!
Just lately, I have learned the value of making greetings cards way ahead of when needed. To do this, I tend to make a number of cards on a theme. I think the freebies lend themselves to making this, either for your own use or for selling. I intend to use them to make cards for WI to be used by the committee or sell among the members.
In this magazine, each project has a write up so it makes for an interesting read. Lots of tip boxes too. Plus features on certain techniques.
Hope this helps.

thanks that is helpful .I like the idea of better quality free papers as I never use the stuff you normally get As you say it is the same quality as the magazine pages! Quite like the idea of a theme aswell. Is ther a mixture of techniques ie not all stamping or all decoupage/paper piecing

Yes and various craft stores do a project each issue, which is great cos you know where to get the products used! There are even 2 pieces of white vellum in issue 2,
