I usually have to pay about 20 quid for 500 sheets of 120gsm printer paper, so imagine my delight at finding 250 sheets of it for £3.25 at Tescos. :)
It printed and cut a dream so I rushed back yesterday and bought more before they discover their mistake and put the price up. ;)

I just bought 500 sheets of Tesco Value copier paper for £1.99 - no idea of the quality yet though cos it's literally just been delivered with the shopping about half an hour ago! It's just for the kids to print stuff & draw on, so I don't really mind if it's a bit carp.
--- edit ---
Just checked - it's only 75gsm, but it'll do fine for the kids...May not be too horrific for doing 'draft' printing on for just a faded background, but I wouldn't really want to use it for card making...

LOL ok I am gonna come over all Howardish and say..... Mothership, where have you been! We have been extolling the virtue of Tesco Finest paper on this forum for at least a year now - not sure when I first found it - but I am pretty certain it was over a year ago now.
For folks who don't have as Tesco in their area then check out your own supermarkets premium range of products - I think Asda also do a premium paper at an affordable price and my bet is Morrisons and Sainsburys probably do too.

I forgot, the other reason I bought it was for scrap play paper pour moi - I like to have a wodge under whatever I'm stamping for catching over stamping, checking colours etc etc plus I'm a cheap skate & don't have a posh tidy tray to catch embossing powder or glitter, I use a piece of folded paper :D
I still have some Crafters Companion satin papers for nice printing

Missed this post, sorry I did not wish to look rude...
I searched through and couldn't find any previous mention of this paper, maybe it was on the previous kerpuut forum. I've only recently begun shopping at Tescos so I wish I had found mention of it before, I would certainly have saved loooads :)

Try tesco general use picture paper its 120gsm matt coated, but is nice and smooth not like normal cheap paper which soaks up the ink like a sponge and is a bit dull looking, think I paid £1,99 for 100 sheets,, but for cards that need a more silky look I use hubbies lazer printer paper as its got silky feel and he gets 500 of 100gsm sheets in a pack, not sure of the price coz he gets it free from work ;) but I'm sure its a lot cheaper then c&c silky stuff I also use tesco's economy gloss photo paper for some of my cards that need a very glossy look.

I am just doing a quick thumbs down for the Tesco Finest Glossy 260gsm Photo Paper.
Started one of my "mad" projects last night, loaded 20 sheets of this in and by sheet 3 it got stuck, I was a tiny bit heavy handed retrieving it and I have broken the printer !!!

I use their photo paper for decoupage... usually £8 ish, it currently has £4 off.
If I need heavy photopaper I go to Wilko.

oh dear ! Poor little printer gone to heaven ! :D
Some printers open up at the back so you can release the papers...if you're looking for a new printer I got this HP Photosmart D7260 dirt cheap from amazon. I like the separate ink tanks.
