I've been PM-ing with ArtySam who's got her hands full ATM & doesn't have a huge amount of free time to run the FLAP swaps, so she's kindly agreed that I can take over, if peeps are still interested in doing this type of swap.

For info, a FLAP is a Fat Little Art Page, a collection of which can be made into a Fatbook. They are 4"X4" in size & generally decorated on both front & reverse, with perhaps less decoration on the back. You usually leave about 1/2" blank(ish) down the front left-hand side so that the receipient can punch holes to fasten into a Fatbook as they want. Have a look at the 'Received' threads in this ATC section to get an idea.

The FLAP swap normally runs on alternate months to Lorraine's ATC swap (hence why we sit it in the ATC section on the Forum), so it would normally have been running this month, 'sept tis a bit late now. So the next swap would be June so as not to squash the next ATC swap due in May. We also usually try to have a theme, as you'll see from Sam's previous FLAP threads.

It is in no way a huge commitment if you want to join in - it's literally for that month, you're not signed up for 12months or anything. It works like RW's monthly card swap - I'll start an invitation thread with a theme towards the end of the month & interested people sign up, then I'll post a list of swappees, you'll send your FLAP to the person below you in the list by the end of the swapping month.

As we haven't had a FLAP swap since Christmas, I thought I'd test the water first, see if anyone's still interested, if so I'll get thinking of a theme for June - it'll take my single brain cell that long to come up with something LOL

Thanks for listening :D

I feel in a swappy mood and I do like making FLAPs (or FAP) so yes count me in, Welly. Thanks for doing that. X Fab

I would be interested in doing more FLAPS again. Makes a change from cards or ATC's. It's very good of you to offer to organise this. Thanks :)
