I went mad and bought the "My Craft Studio" Carousel of Classics triple CD rom set even though I'm not much use on a computer and now find that I can't bring up any of the images. It's installed and comes up on the list of files but I can't get any further than that.Is there some kind person out there who can explain in very simple terms to this numpty what to do next? I feel a right idiot, but not being of the computer generation I feel that the words "old dogs" and "new tricks"apply. Thanks for reading this.

I have the 'Finishing Touch' MCS cd. After clicking on the MCS icon on your desktop you should then get the box that says 'Start Project' or 'Recent Project'. Click on either portrait or landscape and MCS opens with the list of folders to the left. Click on the 'MCS' folder and you should have a folder that says 'My Artwork'. Click on the 'plus' sign next to the folder and another folder should be displayed with the name of your Cd. Click on the 'plus' sign next to that folder and it should then list the contents of the cd.

Hope this helps if you need me to I'll post screen piccies. Let me know how you get on.

Hi pyjama princess,
Thank you so much for your help.I printed your instructions off then had another go at getting into the CDrom and (with a few hiccups!)managed to find the images. Now all I need to work out is how to alter the sizes, colours etc.I think when my clever grandaughter comes home on holiday next,I'll ask her to give me a crash course in managing the technology! I really appreciate your help,so again, many thanks.

Hi Chicken Licken and welcome! I don't have any of these CDs but I am sure I heard them say that there is now a help line that you can call and someone should be able to talk you through resizing etc. Keep at it, I'm sure after a few practices, you'll be having a great time and then you'll be able to really impress your granddaughter when she visits!

Just click around all the buttons within that software to see what it does. You can also hover the cursor over and it should tell you what does what (if the software was coded properly). The good thing is that once you learn what a button with symbol does, they usually look the same with other softwares that means any skills you learn with it you'll be able to transfer to another piece of software one day. So your learning curve isn't lost ! wink X Fab
