...So, do you reckon it'll be free p&p? Cos C&C have finally put some new stuff in the Clearance section & I rather fancy 3 Xmas WS fretwork stencils for $8.50 cos I wanted the snowflake one anyway...but I don't really want to do the p&p thang...

It's an MM kit for POTD BTW...

I'm thinking possibly, Welly. I suspect that their recent craft event that didn't have free p&p went really badly.

..and they'll be mindful of the QVC Craft Day next Saturday!

I never think they have real craft days on IW - cos they have one every other week, rather than just a few a year like QVC - which keeps them special.

I agree ROC, they'll no doubt have a couple of hours of crafting with CDs and decoupage and glitter girls and then keep recycling the same old stuff. Oh, and a couple of extravaganza shows too no doubt where they'll sell old POTDs at half the price. Predictable!

Looking forward to next Saturday though :)

My money's safe

Thanks for that Jeanette.

I'm going to buy this one. I brought Michele's last two Triple Treasure CD's and they are brilliant.

Thanks again,

Hi guys

Thanks for the link to the POTD Jeanette. I'm not buying it either. I'm just about all Christmased (if that's a word) out at the moment as I've made about 60 cards already and still got enough stuff to make about 300 more :) I'll watch Michelle's shows though as she does give some great ideas.

I just had a quick look through the C&C Clearance and the stuff I had my eye on is all sold out - no surprise there then

Not buying anything from them if it's not free P&P :p

Ta Jeanette - my money's safe too. I don't mind these CDs, but it's not what I'm after ATM, so no use spending 30 squids on it. Unless when it's demo'd it's stunning. I have the Artylicious Seasons Greetings CD though & usually, designs-wise, not much moves me as much as these :o

Oh right. Shall I look? Or should I just take it as a money saving opportunity LOL

Oh I think your dosh is probably safe :) There really wasn't much there at all. I'm a bit annoyed that they are now doing a multibuy on the "we will never get back in stock" Bear Necessity kits - 80 cards for £18.50 I think. I paid £27.00 for the two individual kits last year and they do go a long way as I ended up making around 150 cards from the decoupage.

Quite a lot of the stuff is Christmas and I've got one of those decoupage books I've not yet started on plus I bought the Red Hot Bed December Designa Decoupage kit about 6 weeks ago and have so far made more than 40 cards from it and not even used half yet. Don't even go there with all the new Papermania stuff :D

There's a few more bits n' bobs gone in the Clearance section since I looked the other night. And my stencils are still in stock. Them are mine if it's free p&p LOL I'm also a teeny weeny bit tempted by the bear stamp.

I know, I can't believe I typed that either   LOL

Hmmm, I see the C&C site isn't behaving. The 'seach' facility appears to have died completely, apparently there are no results for 'butterfly'. Funny that, cos I certainly got results for that search yesterday.

It's also a bit touch & go for browsing things like the Brand Shop - if the brown square image isn't showing (which it wasn't a few mins ago), you can't access the section. I was trying to browse for glue before under the Tools & Essentials section & couldn't access that. And a search for 'glue' returns no hits....

I may try to place my order now, but I'm slightly nervous...

Does anyone else think that they don't even seem to be trying hard this Craft Day? Last night's Extravaganza Show was a joke, it really did seem to be the last few bits found at the back of the warehouse. I know we're all waiting for some previous PODs to fetch up at new, lower prices - do you think that they've learnt their lesson and are going to stop doing this - if so, they'd better price their PODs more favourably as we've now all "learnt" what we really should be paying for these previous kits.

In my view, they had really started to get a bit better now they're back to being QVC's poor cousin from the country. For example, last year I bought some absolutely beautiful Christmas acetates from QVC (Anne - you may remember them, as I sold on a few), as well as being in Silver and Gold, they also came in Blue and Pink and were absolutely stunning and were far, far superior to the Christmas acetate that was on CAC last night.

Debbie Shore seemed to be half asleep - I don't know which is better, Debbie not having a clue about what she was selling & just picking samples up & talking so quietly you can hardly be bothered to listen to her or Little Miss Screacher a few weeks back who needed a slap or something to calm her down. And then inbetween you get Shaun (sp?) who's just about passable when he does an Extravaganza.

And I agree Dips, load of old tosh on it too.

Is it me, or did Steph & MM seem a bit below par last night? I know a few of you don't care for MM &/or the giggling that ususally goes on between her & Steph, but the bit I saw last night seemed positively flat with very little enthusiasm by their standards.

They've been more on form this morning though - & Malcolm has been a bit nawty too.

Finally placed my order this morning - got my Christmat fretwork stencils & the cute bear stamp - plus an Egyptian card & peel off pack usually shown by Maisie*Daisie's friends Nigel & Hazel.

BTW, & I might flag this up under a thread of it's own, but I noticed last night that the Artylicious Peacock CD is still in stock at it's POW price (just under $21) if anyone missed it...

I ordered the new lot of the moving decoupage with no problem for once!
Debbie Shaw is so boring. I can never understand how they keep her on as a presenter.

I think the only person more bored than me was Debbie Shore. When I turned on she was practically lying on the bench! I watch for about five minutes.
Nothing I need or want today either.

I was doing my usual batch of Tuesday afternoon ironing/watching craft when that strange Gwyneth woman came on with her new CD-Rom. Is it just me that's freaked out by her. I found the Glitter Girls show with Martyn quite enjoyable - even though there was nothing I was interested in, but I could see he was going to struggle with her. Turned over to QVC (yeah, I am that sad and lonely) to find it was their turn to be flogging yoghurt. The only thing I had recorded was 'Sex and the City' and I didn't think that was suitable with a 2 1/2 year old about.

I watched some of craft day and found the bit I saw BORING me to tears. I could not help but think that a lot of what was on offer wasn't actually cardmaking, but sticking by numbers. Sorry if my viewpoint offends, but its what I feel.

Yup - I saw the last 20mins or so of the GG's & saw there was a CD show on next. I thought it might have been Rob Addams & was thinking of watching it when I heard Martyn say something like 'Gwyneth's coming next' & turned over like a shot!! Not to QVC though - I really do only watch craft on QVC (or IW if I haven't got access to C&C).

BTW, my order shipped yesterday

Went to see the SATC film with SIL & was telling 5yr old DS I was going out with Auntie Nic to see a film "Ooo What film are you going to see?" "!!...???....Ummmm......???? Ummmm. Bib & the Doodahs" Not a word of a lie. I don't think he believed me :D As it was, there was a handy scene in the film which I could resort to if he asked again LOL I won't spolier anyone though...I bought Auntie Nic the original book that the series is based on for her birthday...DS spotted it...
