Has anyone got one of these, is it a similar thing to the boards that the glitter girls flog?
It looks a good price at £7.99.

I saw it this morning on an email from Trimcraft. It looks exactly like the Crafter's Companion Topscore Multiboard - but for £5 less! The product description is a bit rubbish online - I thought they should show some samples of what it can make.

I'd be getting the lawyers in if I was Sara!

Um, I doubt if Sara can claim exclusive rights on the Top Score..... the Groovey Duo does exactly the same as the Crafters Companion Top Score..... Scores various card folds on one side and is a box maker on the other..... and there are other score boards on the market too that do these jobs.

Very true, but I was curious & found this (http://www.trimcraft.co.uk/productinfo.php?product=1821) - it's the same bliddy colour & everyfin...

The Groovey Duo is a very similar sort of pinky purpley colour too.... so go figure, cuz I have no idea at what stage it becomes too close to someone else's product for it to be considered a breach of patent, or copyright or whatever the relevant law would be. Seems to me tho, it might have been better if the Dovecraft one was in a different colour just to give it a little more individualty. The differentiating factor with the Groovey vs the Top Score is that the Groovey has a little clip peg with a corresponding hole in the bone folder so as you can clip the bone folder onto it for storage purposes.

I think it would be very difficult to patent the concept of a board with ridges in it, however the use of the colour could start to fall under the issue of "passing off". However, as any brand knows when trying to tackle supermarket own brands, it is very difficult (and expensive) to prove this in a court of law.
