Probably a stupid question about the Wizard atc die

I've been hankering after this for a while now http://www.sirstampalot.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=30426 but I've been wondering if the wings get punched out of every atc card you cut? Surely that would be pointless...or maybe I'm missing the point :blush:

Hi Diana - OK I am guessing here but, if you look at the photo you will see that the centre die is held in place by very fragile looking bits of metal - rather like the little paper bits that hold die cut shapes in place on commercially produced sheets of die cuts. I think that the die in the center of the ATC rectangle is designed to be broken away from the main die after you buy it. Basically your getting an extra die for your money rather than a big empty space in the middle of the ATC rectangle shape if you see what I mean. As I say this is only a guess on my part - perhaps someone else can confirm what I think.

I think I would agree with Phree on this one. The other option is too just cover the element you want to cut out. You can use your 'scraps' for little die cuts like these

I think the centre must be designed to 'pop' out cos there are the little designs around the edge which I assume are to make further shapes for an ATC???
