just to let you know I have started a dispute via paypal, basically explaining about none delivery of goods, terrible customer communication, and taking money before the item is shipped.
will let you know the outcome

Thanks, well can you actually believe this, because of paypal dispute thay have finally e-mailed me, first they say I now have a refund, when I said no I haven't, they said well paypal issued one so I need to take it up with them, this company should be banned from trading and people warned againt ordering from them.

ohmycrafts also trades under the name of meganssecrets on ebay, they did have another shop on there but it was removed, people weren't too happy according to their feedback.
I have ordered from them in the past and have had no problems, but I can understand your frustration, hope its sorted out quickly for you.

that's interesting Gill, I'll have a look at the feedback on there, another thing that annoys me is, how can they say that the folders haven't been released in the U.S. yet when clearly we know they have.
The are bastards to deal with. I have taken it further now and escalated the dispute as they won't give me a straight answer.

I vagley remember they were trading under another name selling over priced kits that were always sold again and again noticed some bad feed back then it disappeared, wonder if they were pulling a scam only had the one kit but never sent it out just stuck it back on

Hmm, I've not done anything about this yet as they replied to me quickly and gave me a time line. Do you think I should tell them I want my money back or wait till mid August to see if they send my order?

Thats up to you Sam. All I will say is you do decide to wait, make sure you know when the 45th day after you paid was as Paypal wont help if you do have a problem

It worked, the 2 emails a day for 11 days, I got my refund. Here is an extract from the email

No we do not have bad customer service nor were we ignoring your emails, I respond to all the emails I receive. I assume this was a problem with our emails. Your order has been cancelled and refunded.


Yippee, off to find a reputable buyer in the UK who wont muck me around

It worked, the 2 emails a day for 11 days, I got my refund. Here is an extract from the email

How ironic that they ignored my e-mail asking for a refund! Oh look I've just sent another!

Glad you got your refund, right shady buggers if you ask me, you do know that you'll be blocked now dear.
I went and bought a folder today and got 10% off, and I shall buy some more at topaz this weekend, they'll be expensive that's for sure.

I have to say I have bought from Oh My Crafts for a couple of years. I agree their CS is appalling but I have always got my goods. I only had one problem and that was resolved satisfactorally (sp??). I think the problem is that the owner is a 'one man band' and she becomes over whelmed with orders from time to time. I would not hesitate to buy from her again and also recommended her to my SIL who also received her order ok. Yes, delivery is slow but as the prices are so good, I don't mind waiting.

I hve no connection with her at all and I am sorry for those of you who have had bad experiences, I know how maddening it is, but I just wanted to show the other side of the story.

thanks Mermaid for this, I sympathise but if you are a business with limited resources you should not over promise and take orders that you can't handle (particularly if you are an international business) that's not good business and not ethical IMHO

I totally agree. I just wanted to reassure anyone waiting that chances are good they will get their stuff. I'm just a sucker for a cheap price :rolleyes:
