I've only seen the first episode of Flashforward so far but I really enjoyed that. I'm not too sure about the new Stargate. I'm missing the humour that was in the other series.

Agree about the humour missing in Stargate Universe, this is so much darker and grittier. I am hoping it will grow on me and last week and this week, they were setting the scene and the characters. It has a good cast, and it would I think be a shame if the suits canned it before it really gets going.

Enjoying both, haven't watched this week's Stargate Universe though, so don't tell me what happens

I'm liking Warehouse 13 too.

like warehouse 13 too

think the humour will come with stargate, just setting the scene and explaining the plot right now

I don't think the humour will come in stargate - they've gone much more for the galactica approach this time. It's nice to have the change though (although I do miss the gorgeous Ronin from Atlantis).

Flash Forward I'm not sure about, some of the characters are doing obviously stupid things and that frustrates me. I'll see how it goes though, it has been picked up for the full series.

Dollhouse is back on next week which I was very impressed with (although not many were). I things that keep me guessing and that definitely did.

Mind you, Heroes has gone down the toilet, I doubt it'll get picked up again after this. They've resorted to lesbian storylines - never good!

Oooh thanks for the reminder, Blarf - I only watched the first series of Dollhouse recently, will have to set the Sky+ :cool2:

Hubby's started watching Flashforward - I was crafting when the first episode was on. He didn't seem impressed, but has continued to watch it.

Watched the first 2 eps of Stargate Universe last week - in fact nearly missed them as neither of us had seen any trailers for it, which kinda goes to show how little we watch the Sky channels these days :cheeky: Not sure what to make of it as yet but have recorded last night's to watch later. The premise is rather too much like a certain other large franchise for my liking (trying not to spolier Wins too much :D ) Must admit I more or less stopped watching the last series or so of SG1 after the cast changed so much; just couldn't get into it. I watch Atlantis on & off & have started to quite like it.

Don't mind grumpy ol' me, I'm missing my Doctor fix this year - luckily SJA starts tomorrow - hurrah for Brit sci-fi

We started to watch Warehouse 13 which is an X files meets Jessica Fletcher (Murder she wrote), very tongue in cheek but I like the main character.

I'm completely hooked on DollHouse and Fringe (I've been watching epsidodes back to back for the past two days on my virgin on demand box). I just love these shows.

ooh i love Fringe too Fabs - it's so weird but not weird for the sake of it (a la Lost which I don't like). Too often the writing lets a series down, for example everyone could see the trap in FastForward this week (trying not to say much but if you've seen it you know).

I'm still sad that The 4400 finished, it was one of the best series ever!

yes I remember 4400 but stopped watching it as when seasons get confirmed in the States then the writers 'dilute' the plot interlacing the main episodes with filler episodes and that cheeses me off no end. Fringe writing is superb and Ann Torv (I spotted she was eastern european and Australian at the same time - that spooked Vince LOL) is very good !

The twists are very good and I like the underlying plot across the episodes.

Aw I havent seen the new stargate but I did love Sg1 and Atlantis. O'Neill & Rodney's humour made the shows worth watching.
