They have a 2hr show from 2pm & I've just looked to see why - appears to be the launch of the board of plenty (http://www.createandcraft.com/The_Keepsake_Cornucopia_Board_Of_Plenty_139493.asp x?#). I actually want to see this in action, from the pic I think I like some of the designs, but I don't fancy the price much...

I've always thought GG stuff is a bit on the pricey side tbh, I also think if you have a die-cutting/embossing machine then these boards don't seem to be worth it at all.

That's just ridiculous- it's the Board of Making The Glitter Grannies a Pretty Penny - bet it's being marketed by Little Jan's GP, lol!

£29.99! No wonder they are off on cruises and New York. I do have some of their boards and find them very quick and easy to use. Still, it sold out though so good luck to them.

I had a look at the GG's site (OK, yes, I have it bookmarked so I can drool over the crystalline card from time to time) & it says that additions will be $15.99...

ROFL - that's a great name, now the GG's have that award I'm sure after they've knocked out another dozen boards they can retire - clever of them to patent the channel thing!

I think once you have the Board of Plenty, the prices for the new boards will come down. Its just cos the BOP houses the boards. I for one need it, because I only have one., I coudn't usre the border bars as they were too dificult to hold as I embossed. Now I have something to slot them into. Yay!!

Granted they will prob be available cheaper elsewhere, but it looks like any of the additional boards will be about the same price as the boards now - so I assume additional releases will be in packs of 3 double-sided panels to fill the scoreboard.

They did keep saying yesterday that there would be new sets of boards made to fit the "board of plenty" and that they would be priced at about the same price point as the previous boards. So if you are a Glitter Girls Board Collector I guess the new board of plenty concept is a must have and not so unreasonably priced given that you get 16 quids worth of boards as well as the "board holder" element.

As I said a bit back, I have never yet paid the fulll price for a GG board.
I came a cross a site last week selling some of them for £11.

I didnt see the show.Why didnt they make one to fit the old boards? or are they now going to rehash the old ones to fit the new system? I hate it when they change things you already have.:( just looks like another take on the helix craft workstation.
Dont get me wrong I have most of the glitter girls boards and do like them,although they are one of my not used very often craft items.

From the bits I was able to catch, I didn't get the impression that they'll be chopping up the old boards to fit. Didn't catch if they gave a reason for the 3 separate panels though, other than something about being able to get new boards out quicker, plus having one slot specifically sized to hold the border bars.
