I'd be curious to know more about the Hollywood limited edition die cuts cd rom and what it can actually do.
Does it have an add on to the existing MCS programme?
What sort of images are on it?
Anyone bought this yet?

Can't make sense of the die cut demonstrations. Watched the one yesterday with Martyn and Diane (?) Not her fault I know but I really find it hard to understand what she says and she doesn't demonstrate the way the CDs work that well.
Quite tempted by the No Need For a Stamp CD but would like to know more about the images on there too.

I have the Hollywood Greats "Lite" version ie it doesn't have the die cuts on it but have the die cuts programme on other discs.
If you have the die cuts programme from another disc you can create your own scenes which you can shrink down to fit the die cut template. It's been a fun CD to use and has lots of things to play with. The "Greats" are Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Liz Taylor for the ladies and Humphrey Bogarde, James Dean & Elvis for the men. There are loads of showbiz type backgrounds - red carpet, stages, cameras, lights, palm trees, drapes, skylines, drapes etc and items which you would associate with the characters (guitars, diamonds, sports car, limo, mirrors, hat boxes, shoes, clapperboard, film strips, cowboy boots, etc)
I did have a problem with there being a difference in what was on my screen and what came up on the print preview ie the created text wasn't lining up and when I tried to give "Elvis" a guitar to hold it was ok on laptop screen but again out of alignment in print preview and when printed out. This has since been remedied by MCS (after several phone calls & emails) and shouldn't happen with the newer versions.
The latest version 1.4.08 is on their website with 12 "free" die cut topper sheets at £11.99 + P&P. I think it's a bit of a cheek myself as loads of sites will offer free upgrades if you already have their products - personally, I think you should be able to download MCS upgrades free on line.
