Sheets of static cling that are adhesive on the other side?
I want to cling mount my stamps but don't want the foam of ez mount etc, why does nobody make this thinner (and cheaper?) option? I've just been all over the web trying to find something, I can find a patent for it in the US but nobody seems to make it.
Come on people, make it for me!!! You can't use ez mount with rock a blocks (or not easily anyway). How frustrating! (rant over)

There's a product called Tack N Peel Blarf. It sounds like it's what you're after.

It was that that got me thinking about it Lynne, it's extortionate though - over £5 for a less than A6 size sheet. There's no way it should be so expensive. I may have to resign myself to stick and spray (which is a huge disappointment and is only repositionable for a short amount of time).

I've stopped using EZ Mount as by the time you buy a couple of A4 themeplates and a box to store the stamps in you're looking at an extra £10 on top of the price of the stamps. At the moment I am using a glue stick and the purple DoCrafts stamping mat. The results I am getting seem to be as good as with the EZ Mount. I do intend to get some Tack N Peel when I get round to it. If you stick it on the acrylic blocks you won't need very much of it.

Because the stick & spray doesn't last very long I've decided to try covering the whole face of the rock a blocks with 2 way glue (zig glue pen), once it's dry it's very tacky so I'm going to see how well it works, I'll let you know.

You've just given me an idea Shepherdess. I have the K & Co. Wackytac repositionable liquid adhesive that I use for reviving the stick on my Cricut cutting mats. That would probably make acrylic blocks sticky too. I will have to try it.

I also use glue stick and the purple do crafts mat, and I find it works well. Bit of a pain washing the glue off but I just think of all the money I am saving that I can spend on more stamp1s

I use baby wipes to clean the stamps and I just wipe the block and the back of the stamp at the same time.

I'm the same, glue stick works much better for fixing stamps to mounts. I also store unmounted stamps in the files Joanna Sheen sells with a quick dap of pritstick. Not 100% successful but better than most options. I think the files are intended to be used with ezmount but I am not a great fan of that.

My issue is more keeping my stamps organised, I have them stuck to acetate in page protectors at the moment. Does anyone have a better suggestion?
I hadn't realised the tack n peel would work just on the block Lynne, will it really cling to the stamp? maybe I only need two sided cling then (I think I found that earlier).

I recommend Kling-on for mounting your stamps, it appears to me to be half the thickness of most other mounting foams and works fine with my RABs.

I use tacknpeel on my acrylic blocks blarf Although it is expensive for a small sheet you use less as you are only covering your block not each stamp so it work out cost effective in the end. If you do get some remember not to lose the clear sheet after you peel it off as you need it to cover the exposed surface when not in use (guess who forgot and managed to stick 2 blocks together)
Mine isnt very tranparent any more as it is very discoloured with ink (I can be a little messy!) but it still works fine after a couple of years.
eta A good storage solution I've found came from my son H e collects football trading crds and he stores them in a binder which has A4 sheets each with about a dozen pockets perfect for storing stamps in!

When helping my Mum unmount her stamps this weekend I found an ATC folder in The Range, I told her to buy it for keeping her stamps in, sounds like the same idea. I would still have to find something for the bigger stamps (puts thinking cap on!).

I have a couple of unused photo albums, now I have gone digital, I don't seem to use them. Thought I might see if they would be any good for keeping my stamps in.

Sounds like a combination of storage is in order :) I was thinking of peel off folders too for larger stamps.
