From what I was reading earlier, it sounds like they may have so I hope nobody is waiting for orders from them.

I've used them a couple of times but their service was pretty bad and I haven't used them for ages, thank goodness.

Hadn't even noticed their almost daily emails had stopped!

well they lost my business when they put their couriers to Jersey to £14.95! I wasn't very impressed by their Customer service tbh, but they did some great deals, what a shame another big supplier has gone!

I have ordered from the regularly. There havent been any emails for a long time and also at the same time, their website says maintenance. If you click on the items on the left, everything still comes up, but you cant order.

Considering the amount of open days they started to do, and the encouragement of playing by cash "to speed things up at the tills". I wouldn't be surprised.

It is a real shame, if they have, they often did some really great bargains.

I hadn't noticed the lack of emails either  and yet it was those emails that stopped me using them, I got soooo fed up of everytime I logged on having 1 or more, there is a limit as to how much stuff ....... well!!!!!! that's what I tell my hubby

I got fed up with so many emails and blocked them. Didn't stop the emails, some companies seem to be skilled at bypassing blocking. Only ordered from them once or twice, some good bargains but poor service!

I never noticed the emails had stopped but then I never read them as some days I got 2 or more, I agree even unsubcribing don't always work, I still get loads from alan and barry every day, still a inbox of 20 a day makes me look popular lol

I received this newsletter today.

I am sure that you have been wondering what is happening with Artymiss, so this is just a quick email to bring you up to date.

Amanda, who founded Artymiss 5 years ago, has moved on to pastures and challenges new and has transferred the Artymiss domain name over to us. We are Sandy and Ian Weller and we also own The Craft Barn at Lingfield in Surrey.

Artymiss is not trading at the moment, as many of you may have picked up from the forums and blog talk, however we will be bringing it back to life shortly. Artymiss will continue to be an on line only shop and to retain its own identity but with the benefit of the back up and support of all of the resources of The Craft Barn.

Until Artymiss is back on line, this is a good time time to visit The Craft Barn shop and website. Our January on line sale starts tomorrow, Saturday 9th January. We will be adding things to the sale all through the week, there are some great discounts for you to take advantage of. Use the link in the right hand column to take you there.

Just some of the Brands you will find in the sale include:

Cuttlebug
The Snowman
Woodware clear stamps
Lelo Stamps
Rachelle Ann Miller Stamps
La Pashe and many more

If you no longer wish to be kept up to date with what is happening at Artymiss then you can unsubcribe by using the link at the top of this newsletter.

We wish you a very Happy New Year and hope that you will bear with us as we rebuild Artymiss.

Best wishes

Sandy and Ian

I am another who will highly recommend The Craft Barn, if they are about to relaunch Artymiss it will be in very good hands.

Yes it's an interesting development, can't help but wonder though whether they will be able to rid Artymiss of it's bad reputation for poor customer service issues?

I think they will be ok but thet might have to minimise the stock range which wad huge, good for me as artymiss were like c&c for p&p and charged £14.95.

I used to get very frustrated with the special offer emailings. If you clicked to check items there was just so much stuff I wasn't interested in and no way of filtering product types. Hope that Crafty Barn doesn't damage its good reputation (and its brilliant web site) by linking with Artymiss. Got the impression Artymiss would continue to be run separately
