View Full Version : my unique t-shirt
Hi, I'm new to this but my new years resolution is to really start doing and enjoying more crafty things - so I have started and bought some t-shirt transfer paper from www.photopapernow.co.uk - I spent ages, probably too long (!) looking for the cheapest quality transfer paper and think I found it here - so I started by making my own t-shirt prints - really easy to do and I even machine washed the t-shirt afterwards and the image wasnt affected  - ok so thats the easy part done - now on something else - any ideas then just post a response - thanks!

Hi Suzi, welcome ot the forum. Quite new here myself.
Keep up the good work with the tshirts.
Are you going to make more and maybe sell them? Think you might be onto something there if you do!

I made a T-shirt for my then Fiance about 5 years ago with T-shirt transfer paper that I got from CraftyComputerPaper.co.uk. He is a Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds fan and me an Elvis fan. On the front it had a pic of Nick Cave and said 'everyone thinks I am a Nick Cave fan' but on the back there was a pic of Elvis in his Gold Lame Suit with the logo, 'but really I am a secret Elvis fan'.
I didn't think he would wear it and really only made it for a joke, but bless him he wore it out quite a lot.
Beats the heck out of pre-made mass produced shirts any day.

I printed a few t-shirts for family; just for fun. I did some for a friends daughters' hen night and they were very happy with them. Don't know how these washed but i suppose they were only worn for the one occasion. But I can comment on the one's I did for my Son's Stag Weekend. Obviously I did wash some of these and they are still being worn/washed nearly 2 years down the road! (They are worn around the house/garden.) They wash up OK with the rest of the laundry; no special treatment for them. I used Kodak transfer paper... I used some Crafty Computer cotton to print names for my D-I-L's hen t-shirts. They washed OK as well...
