Been to Warrington today bagged some bargains

584484 Paper Nation Boys Decoupage with Inserts & Envelopes £9.50 instead of £25.25

587106 Kids Themed 12 Decoupage Papers & 6 Sticker Sheets £5.82 instead of £13.50

586952 Christmas pop up cards £10.54 instead of £24.24 this is the full kit glad I cancelled my auto delivery now

586480 Waterfall & Lantern Card Making Kit with Ribbons, Adhesive & Explosion Boxes £14.99 instead of £38.36 full kit. Not worth the full price but fantastic for the price I paid :)

586618 A1 size cutting mat for £3.99 absolutely brilliant it covers my whole table the box says £14.99 but I’ve never seen theses for sale

583214 36 A4 ladies theme decoupage sheets £3.99 not seen these on the shows either but great designs, perfume bottles, phones make up etc

I’m a decoupage freak as you can tell. There lots of cheap stamps and scrapbook sets. I could have bought tons more but DH was with me…and we only have a small car ;);)

It was very messy so I had to rummage but its all good fun

it takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours be we call there as part of a day out visiting other places on the way back. Had a good time at the trafford centre today too :)
it would probably cost us in petrol what ive saved if we went purely for me

I'm having thoughts of poss stopping off at Birchwood on the way back from the Manchester SCCS this coming Saturday, depending on time & how tired I feel...Although I suspect this might end up a little un-economic cos I'll be buying day return train ticket & of course you can't break your journey, so I'd end up paying again to get from Birchwood to home...

I think you should be able to break your journey, Welly unless there are special conditions on the ticket? I've often done this in the past :)

Either - the City Line runs between Manchester Piccadilly & Lime Street & goes through Birchwood. IIRC most trains (including those continuing past or coming from beyond Manchester) stop at Birchwood - but I could be wrong on this count, it's a while since I've travelled regularly to Manchester or Warrington (I used to work in Manc city centre when I first moved to Liverpool & then worked in Warrington for a little while too)

Forget it Welly - you won't have a penny left after going to a Craft Fair - or a spare finger to dangle the bags off. :D

We called in last week in august and i spend just short of £60.00 :o did'nt spot DH standing over the till watching what i was spending.

I got the paper nation kit with the stamps, the brenda pickering( spelt wrong) card making kit in a box, sara pockets??, a card making kit, 2 scrapbooking kits ummm i think that it can't remember the prices but i left them on the packing.

I run into the ladies who work together shoving stuff into their baskets and them sorting out in the corner. Well if you can't beat them join them i say so i shoved into mine too and sorted later.lol

The lady there was very helpful this time and said she was going to put new stuff out so i hung around she also said to ring and check when the new stuff was going out during the week but as we were only on holiday and book up most days i never did get to go back.

Can you return craft items bought in the outlet shop?

Yes you can - you will need the receipt though.
I bought some beautiful scrapbooks in the Shrewsbury outlet - both of the silk oriental ones that were a TSV. I looked at them for about 2 days and then had to return them to Birchwood as I don't actually do scrapbooking.
The prices had been brilliant and they were 99% complete.
I got my money back without a problem :)

Wouldn't it be funny if we were all buying and returning the same packs? :)

Last time I was there I was able to pick up a couple of the Egyptian distressed gold cards sets - only a few bits missing. Haven't used any yet but take them out of my Egyptian stash box and stroke them at least once a week.
They go beautifully with the Turquoise set I bought from the Topaz website.

How sad am I?
