Today my parcel arrived from the sale. I am really angry. I had ordered quite a lot of items as I have only recently obtained a big shot and am trying to slowly build up supplies.
I had only got 1 item in 5!! If I had known what was actually available then I could have got more items. I only had a certain amount to spend, but obviously I didn't use much of it.
There was a notice in the parcel apologising for the lack of items and citing the amount of orders they had, and that the site had not updated.
Also the amount of items I received (had I realised) I would not have spent that much on p&p.:mad:

Sorry to hear your bad luck.
I think you have a valid case for writing a complaint to them, in a way you have been mis-sold. maybe as a gesture of goodwill they can do something for you, but as this appears to be an annual thing, perhaps its also something for trading standards to deal with, if there is no small print on the website, saying subject to availability, they are on dodgy ground.
There's a whole thread about it here

They have got themselves covered. Website small print fairly prominent not just hidden away in terms and conditions

That's a good point P, I too had to pick and choose carefully as I couldn't buy everything I would have liked (like most of us) so that adds to the disappointment too :(
Perhaps they will be willing to refund the P&P charge for those who feel shortchanged?

I've just emailed them as my P&P came to more than the item I received. And why am I posting this when I have already told my tale on the other thread? Cos I'm good and flaming mad that's why:mad:

I'm very disappointed with this company's performance over their sale.
I only got two of the five items I ordered as they said the ones I didn't get
were OOS. But, one of them is still available on their site in the clearance! I didn't mind the wait, and expected it given the time of year but I do mind ordering something, expecting to get and when I don't their web performance is blamed! Did they not expect a huge response given the prices in the sale? Plus their apologetic email was a long time coming.
I got my two items this morning but no idea what I have paid as it was basic information. I have signed up for their email and got a nice informative newsletter and in fact would have expected better from a company with such a glossy image.
I think they need a serious managerial review of their systems and the way they treat their customers.

mine came today yippeee, I must say I'm very pleased with what I did get, I got a let it snow word, a merry christmas word in the sizzlets, and then theres a bigger die that says original on it and it has a stocking ornament and light on it as is bigger than I expected. I think for what I paid it's a great deal, just sad that I didn't get my alpha, lets hope they sort out their service for next year.

Unlikely. Their small print stresses that it is a fixed amount regardless of size of order.
