Out of curiosity, has anyone found a cheaper price than $13.99 for Keepsake boards? I've been debating over getting the Celebration board for a little while, & now I'm doing yet another wedding card, with a request for horse shoes, I may just get the bliddy thing. I quite like the Facination shape & the little bits of floral embossing, so I reckon I can get a bit of use out of it.
I was almost going to get it from C&C - with club discount it's about the same as everywhere else while free p&p is on - but I don't particularly want a third glitter ball tool
Cheapest I've found so far is Sparkly Bits (http://www.sparklybits.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=643), who I'd never heard of/seen before & am a little reluctant to order from (I don't know why!)

If the site's behaving as it used to, your post count only updates periodically - every 5mins or something

I have been playing on ebay and won an item I did not expect to win on. Its an inkadinkado dragon stamp, so I guess I'd better pay for it. I have also bought a red jade phoenix and dragon pendant from China. Best part of it is Welly, if you are careful Ebay need not cost you the earth, much cheaper than QVC or C&C.

Thing is, are you the sort of craft that hoards everything thinking it will come in useful. I made a concerted effort last year to use up a lot of my supplies and have promptly gone and replaced them with new stuff. Still got a load of stuff that needs either putting up for sale or utilising.

I have stopped putting things in my bits box, cos I found I vary rarely went back to it to look for stuff & then forgot what was in it anyway. So I find I now commit the number one crafter's cardinal sin of - throwing bits out

I seem to be collecting bit boxes LOL:D
But I don't keep every scrap. It just gets ridiculous!
Some things are too nice to use too.
I have never paid the full price for a keepsake board and must all nearly all of them now. I had a gift voucher for one site and got two of the boards so paid nothing at all for them !:)
I got some from Crafter's companion when they had a special offer buy two for £25 and I also had a voucher to use for some of them which made them cheaper still. You collect points the more you buy from there. I was surprised how quickly it mounts up.
I got the oriental board for £9 or £10 the other week from another site in a sale.
I think you just need to look round and you never know what you might find.....yes lots more to tempt you hehe:D

I ordered it from JS yesterday cos I know her service is impeccable - plus I'm trying to keep down the amount of separate deliveries while hubby's off sick & there were other things I wanted from JS...
I'm failing miserably on the number of deliveries though :( LOL

LOLOLOL...... I never said any such thing.... I simply warned you that eBay is a dangerous place to play..... very very dangerous to the health of your plastic as there is so much temptation on there :p In fact it makes our Jeanette's tempting look like the work of an amateur :D
