Hello Everyone
I found this interesting site on a google search. Was trying to find out what invertage is as I bought a kit on IW without seeing the demo and no instructions were included, nor envelopes incidentally! Can anyone explain how to do this please?
Best wishes, Dollydaydream

Hello Dollydaydream - big warm welcome to CT.com :D

If the kit you bought was the Christmas one (that I missed :( ) I know a couple of peeps on here bought it so hopefully they may be able to give you some pointers...

Hi dollydaydream and welcome to Craft Telly - hope you enjoy the forum!

Dollydaydream is one of my (many!) nicknames for my puss cat :D

I don't have the kit, but did see it when it was on - it looked to be a reverse pyramage design, a bit like a frame going inwards with a stepped effect (I think they said you could do pyramage with the cut outs left over from the invertage.

Don't know whether that is any help!

Thank you all for responding and making me feel welcome. When I find out how to do the cards I will post a thread. Maybe it will be demo'd on IW again shortly but it has to be just when I am watching!

Happy crafting to you all. Dolly

Hi again,
If you look in the QVC or the Create and Craft threads you`ll find a bargain or two.Or the lovely people on here keep adding bargains they find elsewhere too.

This technique is basically the reverse of pyramage decoupage - in that you start with the smallest circle (or whatever shape)and finish with the largest! I think of it as inside out pyramage.

Inverted pyramids have the middle of the image cut out.

So by looking at the image you will see that the first piece has no middle cut out, you put that first on the card.

The 2nd image has a small piece in the middle cut out and you lay that on top of the first piece.

Same thing for the 3rd and 4th etc. The middle of the image is getting larger than the other layers. Making the very last layer to put on top the smallest.

Welcome Dollydaydream!:D

Wires crossed Dolly :) You can't buy the bargains direct from CT.com, we post about items we've found at fab prices elsewhere... Although having said that, there is a section posting private sales by forum members...
