Although it appears to have been a game of "chicken" with who will blink first, I have finally been able to buy the Christmas Ball kit and the Christmas Shaker Card kit, both on proper Extravaganza prices and with free P&P:D So with my CAC discount, I got both kits for £37.78 total, think it would have been closer to £60 if I had bought them on their respective POD launches:rolleyes:

Just goes to prove, if you are prepared to take the risk and wait, then eventually you can buy them on reduced prices and with free p&p. I saw this last year when my money was very tight and I couldn't afford most PODs (but eventually bought them 6-8 weeks later at Extravaganza prices). Luckily this year, money is not so very tight, however, I'd learnt my lesson by then and I now wait it out. If I miss out, so be it, but I'd hate to have been "ripped-off"!

BTW, most the kits that have been on with extravaganza prices but £4.90-£5.90 p&p now appear to be on the CAC site with £0 p&p;)

Some the extravaganza prices in the Preview show this morning weren't very enticing IMHO...But I ain't buying anything for a while - hubby would quite possibly just chuck me out if he saw a package from QVC or C&C ATM

Thanks for this, Welly, just been off to have a look and now added the Floral Montage POD from Craft Week to my purchases today. So this means that I have now been able to buy everything I liked from Craft Week at much better (and, frankly, more realistic) prices. Am happy and am off to see SIL in 30mins, who today thinks she's in Debenhams and that all the nurses are her personal shoppers (apparently it's the drugs she's on and they are well used to it)

I have been waiting for the glitter christmas kit since it was a potw (or potd I cant remember) it was on the ideal world site for ages but not the cac one then it appeared on IW with a sale price but still £4.90 p&p yesterday it finally popped back on to the CAC site and today the p&p is free so yes it pays to wait!
Ialso fancy the floral montage kit but I quite like the oriental ladies one too

I am of the opinion that I would rather take a chance of not getting it at all than pay full price and then find it reduced later.

I have bought the floral montage set - I have a lot of elderly Aunts that will love it - the global inspirations is very cheap at only £12.

Thanks for this thread Dips, I got in with my order before the extravaganza show after checking out some numbers that have been burning a hole in my c&c notebook :D - I only EVER order now when free p&p is involved.
If we're all confessing our sins then I've finally gone for the butterfly/fairy wonderland multibuy, foxy fairy kit and some foam pads. I wanted stampbord too but they were sold out.
So now I can go to bed knowing that my secret wonderland collection can continue to grow under my bed   :D

Sugarplum, I liked the look of that Christmas Glitter kit, I don't think I've seen it previously, but I am all spent up, so I think I'll have to resist this time!

I liked it when it was on originally but it was £29.99 plus postage so it was just too much for 36 cards but I have stalked it ever since! glad I waited
