How quick does CaC membership active

As I am thinking of buying a couple of kit today thought I might purchase a year membership as I would probably buy enough over the next 12 months to justify it If I buy the membership this evening does the activation email come straight away if not how long does it usually take?

From what I can remember I think it's almost instant. I would wait for some other replies though, incase i'm wrong.

I think it's one of those 'could take up to 24hrs' things, but is pretty quick in practice...Can't remember how long mine took, but I'm pretty certain it was within an hour...
