...but I did enjoy making these 3 quickie cards last night:

One is for my nephew who doesn't seem to have any specfic interests. He nearly got an MM exploding box, but the foiling was too flowery so I just came up with the idea of repeat stamping his name instead! Then I realised I could use the same idea for DS's friend too - they're all into Ben 10, Transformers or Spiderman which are a bit of a pain to do so I thought this generic idea would be better - I can use it for all his parties this year LOL

The little card is for DS's friend's little sister - the party is also for her as her birthday is only a few days apart from big bro. Their mum is about to pop - her third is due in 2 weeks & she's Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. She has also sworn off having any more ahem, 'fun' around Christmas/New Year LOL

I like the idea of stamping their name all over the card, you made a great job of lining up the letters with that Sketchy Alphabet set too!

I wasn't sure about that sketchy alphabet set when I first got it, but I've used it few times now, mainly on cards for my dad & FIL cos when all else fails & you're struggling for a 'male' theme, some nice big embossed lettering fills the front of a card nicely :D I'm just slightly frustrated by a lack of numbers in the same style

I like the use of the name stamped all over too - something I've not seen before and a bit different.

It's the Elusive Images Sketchy Alphabet...

Yup - a couple of them are embossed (not very well though ). It's from one those tiny Studio G clear stamp sets which CraftyOne has lots of here (http://www.thatscraftyonline.com/acatalog/Studio_G_Clear_Stamps.html) I have 3 of these little sets which I always forget about. The smiley flower is from the 'Fun' set...
