Good news, folks - Dufex is back in business!

I just had a call to let me know that there has been a management buyout.

I had an order ready to go just before they went into liquidation, so should have new stocks (including exciting new products) soon, hopefully within the next couple of weeks!

I might not use Duflex a lot, but I would miss them

Only just seen this post. So pleased. I don't like all Dufex products but would really miss not having access to the ones I like.:cake:

Well i will have to use Dufex products more, I do like Reddy decoupage! I wonder if Ant is part of the buyout?

I wouldn't think so, ROC as he is working for Pinflair now. It was posted on here a while ago and I saw him working on the Pinflair stand at the trade show a few weeks back.

I thought it might be a temporary arrangement with Pinflair?

Reddy decoupage is great - I love the poppets and flower fairies, and also toreads! (I think toreads are reddy?) But I have had some stunning results with those and the dufex versions of poppets/FF.

Yes they do the Toreads ( many find them scary but this was the first die cut decoupage I ever saw and since then other companies do not seem to be able to do die cuts to this standard). Their die cut flowers are stunning and I'm not a big flower person. I used to love watching Debbie Williams demoing Reddy stuff.

Yeah, I used to like watching decoupage debbie! :) and her mum in law! :D They just used to carry on making stuff regardless of the presenters, and I used to chuckle at how much silicone they got through! :D

I used some of the floral decoupage too - there is none to compare you are right, and it softened some of the toreads a bit. They always turned out so jolly I never wanted to part with them!
